The ASU Stadium is an American football stadium in Montgomery, Alabama, on the campus of Alabama State University that serves as the home field for the Alabama State Hornets football team. The stadium opened in 2012 and replaced the Cramton Bowl as the home of ASU football. ASU Stadium's inaugural game was played November 22, 2012, when it hosted the 89th Turkey Day Classic in which the Hornets hosted the Tuskegee Golden Tigers. The game, won by Tuskegee 27–25, was a sell-out and was televised nationally on ESPNU.
The stadium's current capacity sits at 26,500 but the facility is designed to allow for future expansion that can increase the capacity to 55,000. [9]
The stadium also holds a restaurant and retail space which allows other uses throughout the year. [10] The stadium itself hosts other events such as concerts, band competitions, soccer matches, and other sporting events by partnering with the Central Alabama Sports Commission. [9]

Alabama State University is a public historically black university in Montgomery, Alabama. Founded in 1867, during the Reconstruction era, it was one of about 180 "normal schools" established by state governments in the 19th century to train teachers for the rapidly growing public common schools. It was one of 23 established to train African Americans to teach in segregated schools. Some of the 180 closed but most steadily expanded their role and became state colleges in the early 20th century and state universities in the late 20th century. Baum–Walker Stadium at George Cole Field is the home venue of the Arkansas Razorbacks baseball team of the NCAA Division I Southeastern Conference, located in Fayetteville, Arkansas, United States. The playing field itself is named George Cole Field, in honor of the former Arkansas athletic director. George Cole Field was also the name of the Razorbacks' old home stadium, in use from 1975 to March 1996. Baum Stadium replaced George Cole Field in April 1996. War Memorial Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Little Rock, Arkansas. The Turkey Day Classic is a college football game, traditionally held annually on Thanksgiving Day. Originally, it was played between Alabama State University and Tuskegee University, two historically black universities. The game was originally played in Montgomery, Alabama's Cramton Bowl, but relocated to Alabama State's new Hornet Stadium in 2012. The game is one of two black college football classics to be associated with Thanksgiving weekend; the other is the younger, but more widely known, Bayou Classic, held two days later.
The 2013 Alabama State Hornets football team represented Alabama State University as a member of the East Division of the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) during 2013 NCAA Division I FCS football season. Led by seventh-year head coach Reggie Barlow, the Hornets compiled an overall record of 8–4 with a mark of 7–2 in conference play, tying for second place in the SWAC East Division. Alabama State played home games at New ASU Stadium in Montgomery, Alabama.
The 2013–14 Alabama State Hornets basketball team represented Alabama State University during the 2013–14 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Hornets, led by ninth year head coach Lewis Jackson, played their home games at the Dunn–Oliver Acadome as members of the Southwestern Athletic Conference. They finished the season 19–13, 12–6 in SWAC play to finish in a tie for second place. They advanced to the semifinals of the SWAC tournament where they lost to Texas Southern. They were invited to the CollegeInsider.com Tournament where they lost in the first round to Sam Houston State.
Albertsons Stadium is an outdoor athletic stadium in the western United States, located on the campus of Boise State University in Boise, Idaho. It is the home field of the Boise State Broncos of the Mountain West Conference. Known as Bronco Stadium for its first 44 seasons, it was renamed in May 2014 when Albertsons, a chain of grocery stores founded by Boise area resident Joe Albertson, purchased the naming rights.
