A pureNRG Christmas is the third studio album by Christian band pureNRG. The album consists of covers of Christmas carols.

PureNRG was a Christian pop group from Nashville, Tennessee. They were signed to Fervent Records in late 2006. They released six albums: their self-titled debut pureNRG, their second album Here We Go Again, a Christmas album A pureNRG Christmas, a remix album reNRGized, and their junior album The Real Thing. Their final album Graduation: The Best of pureNRG was released July 20, 2010.

"Grown-Up Christmas List" is a Christmas song composed by David Foster (music) and Linda Thompson-Jenner (lyrics). It was originally recorded by Foster, with Natalie Cole on vocals, for his 1990 non-holiday album River of Love. Though it was also released as a single, the song was not a hit upon its first appearance. In 1992, Amy Grant recorded a version for her second Christmas album, Home for Christmas. Grant's version featured an additional verse that Grant penned herself. Her record label at the time, A&M Records, promoted the song as the second single from the album, and it received substantial radio airplay.

"I'm Alive" is a 1965 number-one UK hit single by The Hollies, written for them by American songwriter Clint Ballard Jr. However they originally passed the song over to another Manchester band, the Toggery Five, before changing their minds and recording the song, which became their first No 1 hit in the UK Singles Chart. It spent three weeks at number one in the UK and was also a No 1 hit in Ireland. The song was released as a single in the US, entering the Cash Box singles chart on July 17, 1965, and peaking at No.84 week of August 14, 1965; it also appears on the US version of the 1965 Hollies album, Hear! Mullen and "More" by Matthew West.
