Maximilien Chaudoir, or Maximilien, baron de Chaudoir, was a Russian entomologist. He was a specialist in Coleoptera and in particular the Carabidae. His Cicindelidae are conserved by the Muséum national d'histoire naturelle in Paris. His Carabidae were acquired by Charles Oberthür (1845–1924), then given to the same museum. He wrote Mémoire sur la famille des Carabiques, 6 volumes commencing 1848.

Pterolophia annulata is a species of beetle in the family Cerambycidae. It was described by Chevrolat in 1845, originally under the genus Coptops. It is known from Myanmar, China, Burma, Japan, Korea and Taiwan. It feeds on Piper nigrum.
Chrysomelini is a tribe of leaf beetles in the family Chrysomelidae. There are over 150 described genera in Chrysomelini, variously arranged into subtribes, though the exact number and constituency of these subtribes is a source of ongoing debate.
The Sphenophorini are an important tribe of weevils in the subfamily Dryophthorinae; however, BioLib places this taxon at the subtribe level.
