Abu Salim (born 11 May 1956) is an Indian actor who predominantly works in the Malayalam cinema, in which he has played villains roles and other characters. He has also acted in a few Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Telugu films. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5]
Abu Salim was born as the second son among 6 children to Kunhammed and Fathima at Kalpetta in Wayanad district. He had his primary education from S.K.M.J. High School, Kalpetta. His debut movie was Rajan Paranja Kadha in 1978.
He is a Police Officer by profession and retired as a Sub-Inspector in 2012. He won the Mr. Calicut Title in 1981, Mr. Kerala in 1982, Mr. South India thrice in 1983, 1986 and 1987, [6] and Mr. India title in 1984 and fifth place in 1992.
He married Ummukulsu on 23 May 1982. [7] The couple has a daughter, Sabitha and a son, Sanu Salim. Sabitha is married to Ashik T. K. and is living in Wollongong, Australia and the couple has two kids, Lutfa and Luann Ashik . Sanu Salim runs a restaurant in Kalpetta, a media studio in Kozhikode and a packet food manufacturing company in Kochi. He is married to Rizwana Parveen and the couple has three children, Alaaya, Alvira and Azlaan.

Kesavan Venugopal, better known by his stage name Nedumudi Venu, was an Indian actor and screenwriter from Kerala, who predominantly worked in Malayalam cinema. He acted in more than 500 films, primarily in Malayalam and also in Tamil in a career spanning nearly five decades. He wrote screenplays and directed one film. Nedumudi Venu won three National Film Awards and six Kerala State Film Awards for his various performances.
Edappal Ponnamkuzhi Veettil Parameswaran Sukumaran Nair, known mononymously as Sukumaran, was an Indian actor and producer of Malayalam films. Sukumaran became a popular film star in Malayalam cinema during the 1970s. Ee Parakkum Thalika is a 2001 Indian Malayalam-language slapstick comedy drama film starring Dileep, Harisree Ashokan, Nithya Das and Cochin Haneefa. It was directed by Thaha and written by V. R. Gopalakrishnan. The film was also the debut film of Nithya Das. The story follows bus owner Unnikrishnan and his assistant Sundareshan who live and sleep in their bus. It is considered one of the best slapstick comedy movies in Malayalam cinema and was one of the highest grossing Malayalam movie in 2001. The bus known as Thamarakshan Pilla, which is a central figure in the movie eventually developed into a cult figure in Kerala.
Mohamallika Pillai, better known as Mallika Sukumaran is an Indian actress and businesswoman, known for her works in Malayalam cinema. She debuted in 1974 with the Malayalam film Utharayanam by G.
