"Ajax" is a Levenslied song by Tante Leen which was released on Imperial Records in 1969. [1] It is dedicated to Tante Leen's hometown association football club AFC Ajax from Amsterdam. [2] The song is the A-side to the record "Ajax / Ik krijg de kriebels" (English: I get the jitters) which was released as a 7"-single. The record features guest vocal by the men's choir "GETEA" under guidance of W. Rietveld. [3] The song is one of many records Tante Leen has released and dedicated to her favorite football club throughout the span of her career. [4]

AFC Ajax Dutch association football team

Amsterdamsche Football Club Ajax, also known as AFC Ajax, Ajax Amsterdam, or simply Ajax, is a Dutch professional football club based in Amsterdam, that plays in the Eredivisie, the top tier in Dutch football. Feyenoord

Johnny Jordaan

Johnny Jordaan was the pseudonym for Johannes Hendricus van Musscher, a Dutch singer of popular music, in particular the genre known as levenslied, a Dutch variety of the French chanson. He was well known for his songs about the city of Amsterdam, especially the Jordaan district, which he sang in a typical "hiccuping Mokum vibrato", "Mokum" being the Hebrew-derived nickname for the Amsterdam inner city area. In the 1950s, Johnny Jordaan rose almost instantly to the level of national celebrity and became the "uncrowned king of the Jordaanlied", and his hit song "Geef mij maar Amsterdam" is one of the songs Amsterdammers identify with most.

A one off single by Dutch association football club AFC Ajax, which features guest vocal by several of the club's first team and women's team players, as well as prominent vocalists from the Netherlands, such as Victor Reinier, Koos Alberts, Dré Hazes, Karin Bloemen, Robert ten Brink, Peter Beense and Glennis Grace. The song also features rap parts from Darryl, RB Djan and Ryan Babel. "We gaan naar Rome" is a Schlager song by Simon Tahamata an association football player, who played for AFC Ajax and the Netherlands national team at the time of release which was in 1979 on Dutch label GIP. The song is the A-side to the record "We gaan naar Rome / Hallo mensen, hier is Rome" which was released as a 7"-single. The song was released prospectively in regard to the UEFA Euro 1980, following the Netherlands qualification to the finals amongst the last 8 of the tournament. Ajax star Simon Tahamata recorded this record implying the Dutch would reach the final hosted at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome. The Netherlands lost their first two matches to Greece and West Germany while beating Czechoslovakia in their last match, finishing third in their group and thus failing to advance past the group stage.

Kasper Dolberg Danish footballer

Kasper Dolberg Rasmussen is a Danish professional footballer who plays as a forward for French football club Nice and the Denmark national team. Dolberg made his senior debut at Silkeborg IF in May 2015. He joined Ajax in July 2015 and made his debut for the club in July 2016.
