Albania has participated in every edition of the Summer Youth Olympic Games since the inaugural 2010 Games and they participated in the Winter Youth Olympic Games for the first time in the 2020 Games.

The East Asian Games was a multi-sport event organized by the East Asian Games Association (EAGA) and held every four years from 1993 to 2013. Among those who competed included athletes from East Asian countries and territories of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA), as well as the Pacific island nation of Guam, which is a member of the Oceania National Olympic Committees.
The Singapore National Olympic Council (SNOC) is a registered society, recognised by the International Olympic Committee (IOC). SNOC was founded on 27 May 1947 as Singapore Olympic and Sports Council (SOSC), and subsequently renamed in 1970. It is also the body responsible for Singapore's representation at multi-sport major Games.
Argentina participated at the Olympic Games for the first time in 1900. It has participated at all subsequent Summer Olympics except in 1904, 1912, and the nation boycotted the Moscow Olympics due to its support for the United States, in 1980. It participated at the Winter Olympics in 1928, 1948, 1952 and continuously since 1960.
The Philippines has competed in every edition of the Summer Olympic Games since its debut in the 1924 edition, except when they participated in the American-led boycott of the 1980 Summer Olympics. Filipino athletes have also competed at the Winter Olympic Games on five occasions since 1972.
The Youth Olympic Games (YOG) is an international multi-sport event for athletes between 15 and 18 years old, organized by the International Olympic Committee. The games are held every four years in staggered summer and winter events consistent with the current Olympic Games format, though in reverse order with Olympic Winter Games held in leap years instead of Summer Olympic Games. The first summer version was held in Singapore from 14 to 26 August 2010 while the first winter version was held in Innsbruck, Austria from 13 to 22 January 2012.
Slovakia first participated at the Olympic Games in 1994, and has sent athletes to compete in every Games since then. Prior to the dissolution of Czechoslovakia in 1993, Slovak athletes competed for Czechoslovakia at the Olympics.
Lebanon's first appearance in the Olympics was in 1936 when a "delegation of officials" attended the Summer Olympics in Berlin. Following the formation of the Lebanese Olympic Committee in 1947, Lebanon participated for the first time at the Olympic Games in 1948, and has sent athletes to compete in all but one Summer Olympic Games since then. Lebanon was one of four nations to boycott the 1956 Games in protest of the British and French involvement in the Suez Crisis. Lebanon has also participated in most Winter Olympic Games since 1948, missing only the 1994 and 1998 Winter Games.
Sri Lanka first participated at the Olympic Games in 1948, and has sent a delegation to every Summer Olympic Games except for 1976 Games and has never participated in the Winter Olympic Games.
The 2014 Summer Youth Olympic Games, officially known as II Summer Youth Olympic Games, were the second Summer Youth Olympic Games, an international sports, education and cultural festival for teenagers, held from 16 to 28 August 2014 in Nanjing, Jiangsu, China. These were the first Youth Olympic Games held in China, making it the first country to host both regular and Youth Olympics following the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing.

Gymnastics at the 2014 Summer Youth Olympics was held from 17 to 27 August at the Nanjing Olympic Sports Centre in Nanjing, China.
Figure skating is one of the sports featured at the Winter Youth Olympics. It includes the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. The sport was part of the inaugural Winter Youth Olympics, held in January 2012 in Innsbruck, Austria.
Athletics has featured as a sport at the Youth Olympic Summer Games since its first edition in 2010. The Youth Olympic Games are multi-sport event and the games are held every four years just like the Olympic Games. Athletes under the age of 18 can participate in the Games. This age group corresponds with the youth category of athletics competition.
