Ukraine competed at the Youth Olympic Games for the first time in 2010 in Singapore, and has participated in every Games since then. [1]

The National Olympic Committee for Ukraine is the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine, which was created in 1990 and recognized in 1993.

Ukrainian athletes have won 74 medals at the Summer Youth Games, and 5 at the Winter Youth Games.

They were the first Youth Olympic Games held outside of Eurasia, and the first Summer Games held outside of Asia and the first to be held in the Western and Southern hemispheres. Eleven weightlifting events were contested at the 2010 and 2014 games; for the 2018 games in Buenos Aires that number raised by 12.

Wang Kuan-hung is a Taiwanese swimmer who competes in the butterfly and freestyle events.

Maryna Kolesnykova is a female Ukrainian swimmer. She won one bronze medal at the inaugural European Games where she was third in 200 metre backstroke. She also competed in the 100 metre backstroke where she finished 4th as well as 50 metre backstroke where she reached semifinals and finished 10th.
