Racing career

Malycke has previously competed in the Lucas Oil Modified Series. [1]

In 2016, Malycke made his debut in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West at All American Speedway in California, driving the No. 08 Toyota for Kevin McCarty, where he started in 21st and finished in nineteenth due to transmission issues.

In 2023, he served as the crew chief and lead mechanic for Dale Shearer in the ARCA Menards Series East.

In May 2024, Malycke was originally scheduled to make his ARCA Menards Series East debut at Flat Rock Speedway driving a car operated by the notorious Roger Carter, but owned by Brandon McKenzie. [2] [3] Carter no-showed the race, kept the funds, and was arrested two months later in Michigan. In September 2024, the chassis, engine and transmission were found by a farmer in a cornfield in Illinois.
