Aliens: Bishop is a 2023 science fiction horror novel by T. R. Napper and the seventeenth book in the third novel series based on the Alien franchise, following the android Bishop after the events of Aliens and Alien 3 . [5] [6] It was first published in 2023 through Titan Books in audio, e-book, and print.
The novel received a positive critical reception.
Following the events of Aliens Alien 3 , Bishop is reawakened and repaired by his creator Michael Bishop Weyland, seeking to "advance medical research for the benefit of humanity". Bishop finds himself pursued by Colonial Marines, "Dog Catchers" commandos employed by Weyland-Yutani, and others seeking Bishop's knowledge on the Xenomorph. [7]
The novel was released in paperback and e-book format on December 12, 2023, in the United States and United Kingdom through Titan Books. [8] An audiobook adaptation narrated by Bronson Pinchot was simultaneously released through Blackstone Publishing. [9]
