S Club, formerly known as S Club 7, are a British pop group formed in 1998 by Simon Fuller after he was fired as manager of the Spice Girls. Original members were Tina Barrett, Paul Cattermole, Jon Lee, Bradley McIntosh, Jo O'Meara, Hannah Spearritt and Rachel Stevens. Cattermole left the group in 2002; it disbanded in 2003. After the members performed solo and in smaller groups, the group reunited temporarily for a short tour in 2015. In 2023, the group reunited and announced a tour; however, Cattermole died of heart failure and Spearritt withdrew from the group before the tour.
Seeing Double is the fourth and final studio album from S Club. It was the only album to be released under the name "S Club", after the group was rebranded when Paul Cattermole left the group in June 2002 after his departure announcement in March. It was used as the main musical influence to the film of the same name released in April 2003. Despite good reviews and reception, the album only managed to reach number 17 on the UK Albums Chart.
"Bring It All Back" is the debut single of British pop group S Club 7. It was co-written by S Club 7, Eliot Kennedy, Mike Percy and Tim Lever for the group's debut studio album S Club (1999). Kennedy, Percy, and Lever also produced the song. It was released on 7 June 1999 as the album's lead single. "Bring It All Back" was used as the theme for the band's first CBBC series Miami 7 as well.
"Chain Reaction" is a song by American singer Diana Ross, released on November 12, 1985, as the second single from her sixteenth studio album, Eaten Alive (1985). The song was written by the Bee Gees and contains additional vocals from Barry Gibb. Sonically, "Chain Reaction" is an R&B and dance-pop song. According to the Gibbs' biography, the brothers had initial reservations about offering the song to Ross in case it was too Motown-like for her.
"Two in a Million" is a song by British pop group S Club 7, released as the third single from their debut studio album, S Club (1999), on 13 December 1999. The single was released as a double A-side with "You're My Number One" in UK, but in other countries, it was issued as a stand-alone single. The single debuted at number five on the UK Singles Chart and peaked at number two in January 2000. In New Zealand, "Two in a Million" became the band's third consecutive number-one single, after "Bring It All Back" and "S Club Party".
"Reach" is a song by English pop group S Club 7. Released as the lead single from their second studio album, 7 (2000), on 22 May 2000, it is an up-tempo track co-written by Cathy Dennis and Republica keyboardist Andrew Todd.
"You" is a song by British pop group S Club 7, released on 11 February 2002 as the final single from their third studio album, Sunshine (2001). The track served as the theme song to their third series, Hollywood 7, in 2001, and was the group's last single to feature band member Paul Cattermole. The song reached No. 2 on the UK Singles Chart, ranking at No. 70 on the year-end edition. The single features a cover of the Beatles's "The Long and Winding Road".
"On the Radio" is a song by American singer-songwriter Donna Summer, produced by Italian musician Giorgio Moroder, and released in late 1979 on the Casablanca record label. It was written for the soundtrack to the film Foxes and included on Summer's first international compilation album On the Radio: Greatest Hits Volumes I & II.
"Dance (With U)" is the second single released by British R&B singer Lemar and his first for Sony Music UK after coming third place in the BBC show Fame Academy. The single became a hit in the United Kingdom, peaking at number two on the UK Singles Chart in 2003. Elsewhere, the song reached number six in New Zealand and became a top-40 hit in Ireland, Italy, and the Netherlands.
"Shine" is a song by American singer-songwriter Luther Vandross, the first single from his greatest hits package The Ultimate Luther Vandross. The track samples Chic's song "My Forbidden Lover". "Shine" became a top-20 urban radio hit, and the club mixes of the song became popular on dance radio stations and clubs in the United States. The single was a top-50 hit in the United Kingdom but failed to chart on the US Billboard Hot 100 despite reaching number 31 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip Hop Songs chart. In 2007, British dance music duo Booty Luv released a cover version that reached the top 20 in several European countries.
"Love Ain't Gonna Wait for You" is a song by British pop group S Club and was originally the last single by the band, released on their final studio album Seeing Double and included on the compilation Best: The Greatest Hits of S Club 7. It was released in United Kingdom on 26 May 2003 as double A-side with "Say Goodbye". In other countries, only "Say Goodbye" was released as single.
"New York City Boy" is a song by English synth-pop duo Pet Shop Boys, released on 22 September 1999 as the second single from their seventh studio album, Nightlife (1999). In the UK, the single peaked at number 14 on the UK Singles Chart. It also reached the charts in numerous European countries, peaking at number three in Spain, and number four in Finland and Hungary. In the US, the song hit number one on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart and number 53 on the Billboard Hot Singles Sales chart.
"What's It Gonna Be" is a song performed by British bassline duo H "Two" O and British bassline vocal group Platnum. Digital formats were released to online retailers in the UK on 11 February 2008. Physical formats, including a two-track CD single, a maxi-CD single, and a 12-inch vinyl disc, were released in the UK the same month. The track was licensed by dance label Hard2Beat and peaked at No. 2 on the UK Singles Chart for three weeks.
"New Direction" is a song by British pop group S Club Juniors, released as the third single from their debut album, Together (2002). Released on 7 October 2002, the song reached number two on the UK Singles Chart, being their third consecutive release to do so. For radio airplay, the song was remixed as the "Magic Fly" mix, which samples the song "Magic Fly" by Space.
"Fool No More" is a song by British pop music group S Club 8 released as the first single from their second album, Sundown (2003). Released on 30 June 2003, it reached number four on the UK Singles Chart and number 20 on the Irish Singles Chart.
"Make It Good" is a song by British-Norwegian boy band A1. It was released on 13 May 2002 as the second single from their third studio album, Make It Good (2002). The single peaked at No. 11 on the UK Singles Chart. A music video was produced to promote the single. Two versions of the video exist: one for the radio edit of the song and one for the extended version.
"Sundown" is a song by British pop group S Club 8, released as the second single and title track from their album of the same name Sundown. Released on 29 September 2003, the single peaked at number four on the UK Singles Chart.
"Let's Go Round Again" was a single released by the Scottish funk and R&B group Average White Band. The single charted at UK No. 12, US Pop No. 53, US R&B No. 33 and US Disco No. 24 The corrected title "Let's Go 'Round Again" can be seen in their printed 1994 compilation album Pickin' Up the Pieces: The Best of Average White Band 1974-1980.
"Love Rendezvous" is a song by British band M People, released in 1995 as the fourth single from their third album, Bizarre Fruit/Bizarre Fruit II (1994). Written by Mike Pickering, Paul Heard and Heather Small, and produced by M People, the song was released on 14 October after the band's world tour. It peaked at number thirty two on the UK Singles Chart.
"Say Goodbye" is a song by British pop music group S Club, released as a single from the compilation Best: The Greatest Hits of S Club 7. The final single released before the band's split, it was released on 26 May 2003 as a double A-side with "Love Ain't Gonna Wait for You" in the United Kingdom and Australia; in other territories, it was issued alone.
