The All-Greek Basket League Team is an annual award for the 10 best players of each season of Greece's top-tier level professional basketball club league, the Greek Basket League. The All-Greek Basket League First Team consists of the Greek Basket League Pentad (Best Five), while the All-Greek Basket League Team overall consists of the Greek Basket League Deca (Best Ten).

The Greek Basket League (GBL), often also referred to as the Greek A1 Basketball League, or Greek Basketball Championship, is the first tier level professional basketball league in Greece. It is run by HEBA, under the legal authority of the Hellenic Basketball Federation (E.O.K.).
Dimitrios 'Dimitris' Diamantidis is a retired Greek professional basketball player, who spent the last twelve seasons of his EuroLeague career with Panathinaikos. Widely regarded as one of the greatest European players ever to grace the game, he marked his era by being the most versatile player in the EuroLeague, serving as an inspiration to a whole generation of young European stars. Diamantidis is the only Greek player who is a member of both the EuroLeague 2000–10 All-Decade Team and the EuroLeague 2010–20 All-Decade Team.
Vassilis Spanoulis, also commonly known as Bill Spanoulis, or Billy Spanoulis is a Greek former professional basketball player and coach, who was most recently the head coach of the pro club Peristeri Athens of the Greek Basket League, as well as the head coach of the senior men's Greek national team. Spanoulis, who during his playing days was nicknamed "Kill Bill", due to his clutch play at the end of games, is widely regarded as one of the best European basketball players of all time. In 2018, he was named to the 101 Greats of European Basketball selection. Along with the Spanish player Juan Carlos Navarro, Spanoulis was one of just two players, that were still active players at the time, that were specially selected for the honor.
The Greek football PSAP awards are a number of awards given annually by the Greek Union of Professional Football Players (PSAP) (Greek: Πανελλήνιος Σύνδεσμος Αμειβομένων Ποδοσφαιριστών). These awards are given annually to players playing in the Super League Greece, Super League Greece 2 and Gamma Ethniki. Managers and referees are also awarded by the PSAP on an annual basis.

The 2001–02 Greek Basket League season was the 62nd season of the Greek Basket League, the highest tier professional basketball league in Greece. It was also the 10th season of Greek Basket League championship that was regulated by HEBA (ESAKE). The winner of the league was AEK Athens, which beat Olympiacos in the league's playoff's finals. The clubs Dafni and KAOD were relegated to the Greek A2 League. The top scorer of the league was Nikos Chatzivrettas, a player of Iraklis. Dimos Dikoudis, player of AEK Athens, was named the MVP of the league.

Vassilis Angelakopoulos is a Greek professional basketball player who last played for Iraklis of the Greek Basket League. Born in Larissa, he started his professional career with GS Larissa. Angelakopoulos has also played for Olympia Larissa and AEL, appearing for all three professional basketball teams of his hometown. He has also played for several other teams in the first and second tier of Greek basketball.

Greek Basket League career statistical leaders are the all-time stats leaders of the top-tier level Greek Basket League, since the 1992–93 season, when the league first became recognized by FIBA, as a fully and entirely 100% professional league of basketball. Although the Greek Basket League officially recognizes results and championships from the earlier formats of the league, it only officially recognizes stats since the league's professional era began, with the 1992–93 season. The competition's stats from years prior, when the league was officially classified as amateur, are not officially recognized.

The 2023 Greek Basketball Super Cup is the 4th edition of the revived Greek professional domestic basketball super cup competition, under the auspices of the Hellenic Basketball Clubs Association (HEBA), and the 5th overall. The Greek Basketball Super Cup had been played only four times before, in 1986 under the auspices of the Hellenic Basketball Federation (E.O.K.), in 2020, 2021, and 2022. All games were hosted in Kallithea Palais des Sports in Rhodes, Greece.
