Annaliese Nock (born March 15, 1996), often known as DareDaughter, is an American daredevil, circus performer and youngest daughter of circus legend and comic Daredevil Bello Nock. Nock has been featured in the Guinness Book of World Records for performing four somersaults in the Wheel of Death in less than a minute. She has performed in Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus and all around the world as well as appeared on Americas Got Talent [1]

Early and personal life

Annaliese was born in Sarasota, Florida, to Bello and Jennifer Nock and is an eighth-generation circus performer. A descendant of the family that founded Switzerland's famous "Circus Nock" in the 18th century, she made her performance debut at 11 years old on Ringling Bros. Circus, performing her solo hand-balancing act. She went on to learn many popular circus and Daredevil acts including her families famous Sway Pole and Wheel Of Death acts.

Career

At 24, Annaliese has performed all across the globe in prestigious shows like the Big Apple Circus, the World Christmas Circus in Stuttgart, Germany, “Bello Mania” at the New Victory Theater in NYC, the Royal Melbourne Show in Australia, Circo Mundial in Spain and the Grande Fete Lilloise du Cirque in France.

Performing the double wheel alongside her father, the dynamic duo took top honors at the 2012 Daidogei Festival in Japan and the “Special Prize” at the 2015 edition of the Massy Festival in Paris. Annaliese was also awarded the Bronze Clown at the Monte Carlo New Generation Festival hosted by the Princess Stephanie.

Annaliese has a Guinness World Record for performing four somersaults in the Wheel of Death in less than a minute is the only woman in the world to perform this trick which was featured in the 2018 edition of the Guinness Book of World Records.

On June 19, 2018, on America’s Got Talent's Episode 1304, she locked herself in a coffin filled with 6 sticks of dynamite and "blew herself up" in an act called "The Exploding Coffin". In 2019, Nock was a finalist on Britain's Got Talent Champions, where she performed on the slender swaying Sky Poles and Wheel of Death.

In July 2020, NBC announced that Annaliese would be appearing once again on America's Got Talent but this time with her father Bello [2]

Ringling Bros. World's Greatest Shows was a circus founded in Baraboo, Wisconsin, United States in 1884 by five of the seven Ringling brothers: Albert, August, Otto, Alfred T., Charles, John, and Henry. The Ringling brothers were sons of a German immigrant, August Frederick Rüngeling, who changed his name to Ringling once he settled in America. Four brothers were born in McGregor, Iowa: Alf T., Charles, John and Henry. The Ringling family lived in McGregor, Iowa, for twelve years, from 1860 until 1872. The family then lived in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, and moved to Baraboo, Wisconsin, in 1875. In 1907 Ringling Bros. acquired the Barnum & Bailey Circus, merging them in 1919 to become Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, promoted as The Greatest Show on Earth. Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey closed on May 21, 2017, following weakening attendance and high operating costs.

Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Clown College trained around 1,400 clowns in the "Ringling style" from its 1968 founding until its 1997 closure.

John Ringling American businessman

The Ringling brothers were seven American siblings who transformed their small touring company of performers into one of America's largest circuses in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Four brothers were born in McGregor, Iowa: Alfred T., Charles, John and Henry William, and the family lived in McGregor for twelve years, from 1860 until 1872. Bello Nock clown

Bello Nock, often known simply as Bello, is an American daredevil clown and circus performer. Nock has been featured in the Guinness Book of World Records for his highwire walk over a cruise ship. He has performed several stunts in New York City, including rappelling off of Madison Square Garden and hanging from a helicopter over the Statue of Liberty. Although he performs without the traditional clown makeup, Nock's signature look revolves around his foot-tall, strawberry blond quiff. He was included in Time's list of "America's Best Artists and Entertainers, and his theater show, Bello Mania, was nominated for a Drama Desk Award.

The Wheel of Death, in the context of acrobatic circus arts, is a large rotating apparatus on which performers carry out synchronized acrobatic skills. The "wheel" is actually a large space frame beam with hooped tracks at either end, within which the performers can stand. As the performers run around on either the inside or outside of the hoops, the whole apparatus rotates. Performers also perform balancing skills with the wheel in a stationary position.

Nikolas Wallenda is an American acrobat, aerialist, daredevil, high wire artist, and author. He is known for his high-wire performances without a safety net. He holds 11 Guinness World Records for various acrobatic feats, but was best known as the first person to walk a tightrope stretched directly over Niagara Falls. Wallenda walked 1,800 feet on a steel cable over Masaya Volcano in Nicaragua, his longest walk, on March 4, 2020.

International Circus Festival of Monte-Carlo circus festival
