The Socialist Workers' Party, previously known as the Workers Party for Socialism, is a Trotskyist political party in Argentina. It was founded in 1988, as the first schism of the Movement for Socialism (MAS), a Trotskyist party led by Nahuel Moreno until his death. Within the next four years, the MAS split into more than 20 groups.
Christian Carlos Hernan Castillo is an Argentinian activist, politician, sociologist and university teacher. He is a founding member of the Socialist Workers' Party (Argentina) (PTS). In the 2013 elections he was voted in as a deputy for the Buenos Aires Province for the Workers Left Front; he resigned to his seat on June 10, 2015 to leave his place to the next candidate based on the banking rotation between the different parties that make up the Front. He was pre-candidate to Governor of the Buenos Aires Province during the 2015 primary elections, losing to Néstor Pitrola.

María Teresa Rodríguez-Rubio Vázquez is a Spanish politician. Active in United Left in her youth within the platform Espacio Alternativo, in 2008 the organization split from IU. She then participated in the creation of Izquierda Anticapitalista, later renamed as Anticapitalistas. She was a Member of the European Parliament representing Podemos from 2014 to 2015, and was the party's presidential candidate for the 2015 and 2018 Andalusian parliamentary elections. She left Podemos in 2020 and founded Adelante Andalucía (2021), being elected to the Parliament of Andalusia in 2022 and leaving her seat at the end of the year.
Anticapitalistas, known as Izquierda Anticapitalista until January 2015 and as Espacio Alternativo from 1995 to November 2008, is a socialist political organisation that works as a confederation in Spain. Anticapitalistas is defined as a revolutionary socialism, anti-capitalist, proletarian internationalist, feminist, republican, and eco-socialist organisation, assuming Marxism in an open, plural, and critical sense. Its stated objective is the rebuilding of the revolutionary project through the creation of a unitary, anti-capitalist political expression sustained by the anti-globalisation movement, the labor movement, and the social movements at large. It is a member of the Fourth International (post-reunification), a Trotskyist international organisation reformed in 1963.
The 2019 Valencian regional election was held on Sunday, 28 April 2019, to elect the 10th Corts of the Valencian Community. All 99 seats in the Corts were up for election. The election was held simultaneously with the April 2019 Spanish general election. This was the first early regional election ever held in the Valencian Community, as well as the first Valencian election to not be held concurrently with other regional elections.
