Andújar was born on 5 May 1978, in Ciudad Real, Spain. [2] [3] He has physical disability, [2] a disability that effects one arm and one leg. [4] His disability is such that when he walks, most of the time you cannot tell he has one. [5]
When he was 20 years old, Andújar was involved in a motorcycle accident that required him to rehabilitate using a wheelchair for about a year. Following the accident, he had less use of one side of his body. [3] [6] Recovery from the motorcycle accident required 15 surgeries on his arm and 11 on his leg. [6] In 2012, he lived in El Campello, Alicante [3] and was a professional athlete. [6] When not engaged in that, he works for his family business as nutritionist, which affords him flexibility in his training schedule. [3] [5] [6] [7]
Andújar is an F46 competitor. [8] He started in athletics when he was 16 years old. [3]
Andújar competed at the 2011 IPC World Athletics Championships in Christchurch, New Zealand where he finished fifth in the F46 jump event. [2] In 2012, he was a recipient of a Plan ADO €6,000 scholarship for athletes and a €2,500 scholarship as a coach. [9] The lack of financial support in his hometown resulted in him training elsewhere in 2012. Given that situation, he spoke before the city council to complain about the lack of local resources. [5] [10] That year, he was also a nominee for the ADDA Provincial Sport Gala's best athlete with a disability award alongside Luis Francísco Paredes Marco and Ignacio Gil Delgado. [11] He competed in the 2012 Summer Paralympics in London, England where he finished 8th in the F46 triple jump event. [2] [4] [7] [8] His jump on the finals was his season's best distance. [4] He was one of two Spanish participants from Ciudad Real to compete in London. [3] There was a ceremony at the city hall of his home town for him following his return from the London Games. It was attended by the town's mayor. [12]
In July 2013, Andújar participated in the 2013 IPC Athletics World Championships. [13]

She has competed at three Paralympic Games, 2004 Summer Paralympics, 2008 Summer Paralympics and 2012 Summer Paralympics, and earned a pair bronze medals, both coming at the 2008 Games.

José Martínez Morote is a Paralympic athlete from Spain competing mainly in category T20 track and field events. He has an intellectual disability, attended school in Cruz de Mayo and serves as a mentor to local track and field athletes. While he originally started sport playing football, he switched to athletics by the age of 16 at the suggestion of a teacher who noticed his speed with the ball. He has gone on to compete at the 2007 World Games, the 2011 IPC World Athletics Championships in Christchurch, New Zealand and the 2012 Summer Paralympics. Martínez has held at least two athletics scholarships to continue his participation in the sport.

Marcelo Rosado Carrasco is a 5-a-side football player from Spain. He has a disability: he is blind and is a B1 type sportsperson. He played 5-per-team football at the 2004 Summer Paralympics. His team finished third after they played Greece and, won 2–0. He played 5-per-team football at the 2012 Summer Paralympics. His team finished third after they played Argentina and, won 1-0 in a penalty shoot out. Rosado took one of the penalty shots but missed. The bronze medal game was watched by Infanta Elena and President of the Spanish Paralympic Committee. In the team's opening game against Great Britain, the game ended in a 1–1 draw.
Antonio Jesús Martín Gaitán is a Spanish 5-per-team footballer. He has a vision impairment and is a B1 type sportsperson. He has represented Spain at the 2004 Summer Paralympics, 2008 Summer Paralympics and 2012 Summer Paralympics, picking up a pair of bronze medals in 2004 and 2012.
