As of the census [4] of 2010, there were 500 people, 204 households, and 149 families residing in the township. The population density was 22.2 people per square mile (8.6 people/km2). There were 290 housing units at an average density of 12.9 per square mile (5.0/km2). The racial makeup of the township was 98.4% White, 0.4% African American, 0.4% Native American, 0.6% Asian, and 0.2% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1% of the population.
There were 204 households, out of which 27% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 62.7% were married couples living together, 4.9% had a female householder with no husband present, and 27% were non-families. 21.1% of all households were made up of individuals, and 5.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
