Ara Qaleh (Persian : اراقلعه‎, also Romanized as Ārā Qal‘eh)^[1] is a village in Bayat Rural District, Nowbaran District, Saveh County, Markazi Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 118, in 36 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Bayat Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Nowbaran District, Saveh County, Markazi Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 5,502, in 1,647 families. The rural district has 35 villages.

The District has two cities: Nowbaran and Gharqabad. The District has three rural districts (dehestan): Aq Kahriz Rural District, Bayat Rural District, and Kuhpayeh Rural District.
