Arish (Persian : اريش‎, also Romanized as Ārīsh; also known as Ārishk, Harīsh, and Horīsh)^[1] is a village in Khusf Rural District, Central District, Khusf County, South Khorasan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 12, in 5 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Khusf Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Khusf County, South Khorasan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 9,419, in 2,703 families; excluding Mohammadshahar, its population was 9,302, in 2,674 families. The rural district has 62 villages.

The Central District of Khusf County is a district (bakhsh) in Khusf County, South Khorasan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 12,605, in 3,632 families. The District has two cities: Khusf and Mohammadshahr. The District has two rural districts (dehestan): Khusf Rural District and Khur Rural District.
