The 17th season of the television series Arthur was originally broadcast on PBS Kids in the United States from November 11, 2013, to May 13, 2014. This season was the second produced by 9 Story Media Group. This is the last season in which Drew Adkins, Jake Beale and Siam Yu voice Arthur, D.W. and The Brain. In the next season, Beale is replaced by Andrew Dayton as D.W., Adkins is replaced by William Healy as Arthur and Yu is replaced by Max Friedman Cole as The Brain.

ABC Family is an Australian free-to-air television channel owned by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation and part of its ABC Television network. The channel broadcasts a range of family and teen entertainment programming. The channel operates between the hours of 07:30pm and 04:00am AEST/AEDT daily. The channel's bandwidth is used for the ABC Kids channel for young children during the remaining hours of the day.
Must See TV was an American advertising slogan that was used by NBC to brand its primetime blocks during the 1990s, and most often applied to the network's Thursday night lineup, which featured some of its most popular sitcoms and drama series of the period, allowing the network to dominate prime time ratings on Thursday nights in the 1980s and 1990s. Ratings for NBC's lineup fell during the mid-to-late 2000s. The slogan was retired in 2015 amidst NBC's transition to airing more drama series on Thursday nights. The branding returned for the 2017–18 television season but was removed for a second time in 2021.
Foreign Correspondent is a weekly Australian documentary series and current affairs program screened on the ABC, Tuesdays at 8:00 pm (AEDT), Wednesdays at 11.30am as well as on ABC News on Saturdays at 6.30pm. It is also available on iView or on the Foreign Correspondent website. ABC News also repeats the program on Thursdays at 2.30pm if parliament is in recess. The program premiered at 7:30 pm on Saturday 14 March 1992. Its aim is to provide information about the happenings in other countries either on the light side of life or during crises.

The second half started on Earth Day 2011 and ended the day before the Royal Wedding the next day.

Season 16 was the first to switch from traditional animation to in-house Flash animation. The Flash animation for the episodes of this season are made with Adobe Flash by 9 Story Media Group.
Dirty Laundry Live is an Australian comedy panel television quiz show hosted by Lawrence Mooney. The first of 22 episodes in Season 1 screened live on Thursday 16 May 2013 at 9.30pm AEST on ABC2. It returned for 16 episodes in Season 2 the following year in the same timeslot on 15 May 2014, with longer episodes.
