The 25th and final season of Arthur aired on PBS Kids in the United States on February 21, 2022. [1] On July 27, 2021, executive producer Carol Greenwald announced that this would be the final season of Arthur for undisclosed reasons. [2] [3] [4]

In the series' final segment, in an old section of the library, Arthur, Buster, Francine, and Muffy stumble across a board game that predicts their future careers. However, the game gives vague answers and runs out of battery power before Arthur's future can be predicted. A patron at the library then recommends Arthur keep the book Ms. Turner accidentally gave him about how to draw animals. 20 years later, Buster has become a college creative writing professor with Kate as a student; Francine runs a business for tennis shoes; Muffy is running for Mayor of Elwood City; George owns the Sugar Bowl, which he has repurposed as the Sugar Bowl Café; Binky works as a TV weatherman; Bud returns to Elwood City, only to be ticketed by D.W., now in the police force; and Arthur is about to publish his own graphic novel based on his childhood, telling the story of his first pair of glasses.

Note 1: Marc Brown, the creator of the Arthur franchise, voices the library patron who encourages Arthur to keep the animal drawing book.

Note 2: Michael Yarmush, the first person to voice Arthur, through seasons 1-5, provides the voice for adult Arthur in the final scene.

The 22nd season of Arthur started airing on PBS Kids in the United States from May 13, 2019 to May 16, 2019. Jane Lynch guest starred on the episode "Mr. Ratburn and the Special Someone". Roman Lutterotti replaced Jacob Ursomarzo as Arthur, Ethan Pugiotto replaced Christian Distefano as D.W., and Evan Blaylock replaced Max Friedman Cole as Brain.

The 23rd season of Arthur started airing on PBS Kids in the United States on October 14, 2019. R.L. Stine guest starred on the episode "Fright Night" as Buster's Uncle Bob. This is the only season not to include Mr. Ratburn as part of the main cast. This season is the shortest season of the show tied with Season 24, containing 3 episodes with 5 segments.

The 24th season of Arthur began airing on PBS Kids in the United States on March 8, 2021.
