The fight was originally scheduled for 1 June, but an injury to Beterbiev forced him to withdraw from the fight on 3 May. [2] [3] [4]

Fight details

With scores of 114–114, 115–113 and 116–112, Beterbiev would win by majority decision and became the division's first undisputed champion since 2002, and the first ever in the four-belt era. [5] [6]

Aftermath

Speaking afterwards Beterbiev said "I feel not bad. I did not good today. I wanted to box with more quality." [7]

Artur Asilbekovich Beterbiev is a Russian and Canadian professional boxer. He has held the undisputed championship in the light-heavyweight division since October 2024, as well as the Ring magazine and International Boxing Organization (IBO) titles.
