Atomic (stylised as ATOMIC!) is an extended play (EP) by English electronic musician and producer Labrinth. Written and recorded throughout 2012, it was self-released on Labrinth's own label Odd Child Recordings on 1 February 2013 as a free digital download.
In May 2012, Labrinth uploaded a number of sketches of new songs on his second SoundCloud account 'Clean water', including "If Mario Had a Dad" (a demo version of "Let the Dogs Run Wild") and "Angry Mob" (a demo version of "Atomic"). [1] [2] "Let the Dogs Run Wild" samples a scene from the film Snatch where the character Tommy is asked if he likes "dags" (a pronunciation of dogs). "No Prisoners" was produced as the follow-up to an SB.TV collaboration project titled "Upcomers Anthem". The idea behind it was grouping together new talent on a track. [3] The official video for "No Prisoners" premiered on SB.TV on 19 February 2013. [4] Yungen was removed from the final version of the track but features in the video.
The EP in its entirety was made available for streaming on SoundCloud on Christmas Day 2012, although no downloadable edition was initially distributed. [5] The EP was made available as a free digital download on Labrinth's Facebook page from 1 February 2013. [6] Speaking about the collection, Labrinth has identified "Under the Knife" as one of his particular favourites, revealing that "it's basically about doing surgery on [your] soul or character instead of your appearance or being fake". Jahmaal Noel Fyffe, better known by his stage name Chip, is a British rapper and songwriter from Tottenham, North London. In the past 14 years he has collaborated with the likes of Skepta, T.I., Meek Mill, Young Adz and many others. In 2009, he released his debut album, I Am Chipmunk, featuring four songs which peaked in the top 10 of the UK Singles Chart, including the chart-topping "Oopsy Daisy". In 2011, Chipmunk released his follow-up album, the American hip hop-influenced Transition. It included the single "Champion" featuring Chris Brown, which peaked at #2 on the UK Singles Chart.
"Pass Out" is the debut single by English rapper Tinie Tempah. It is the lead single from his debut studio album Disc-Overy (2010) and his debut single on Parlophone. The song was a digital-only release and was available to download in the United Kingdom on 28 February 2010.
Timothy Lee McKenzie, better known by his stage name Labrinth, is a British singer, rapper, songwriter and record producer. After initially pursuing a career in music production, Simon Cowell signed him to his record label Syco Music as a recording artist, becoming the first singer who Cowell signed without having competed on a talent show in six years. Labrinth collaborated with the English rapper Tinie Tempah, appearing as an uncredited featured artist on the single "Pass Out", and later officially on "Frisky"; before releasing his first solo single, "Let the Sun Shine" in September 2010, all three of which peaked in the top five on the UK Singles Chart.

The track was released on 23 October 2011 in the United Kingdom as the second single from the artist's debut studio album, Electronic Earth (2012). It debuted at number two on the UK Singles Chart, having sold 115,530 copies and setting the second-highest one-week sales at number 2 of the year, behind Little Mix.
"Forgiveness" is a single from Tottenham-born rapper Wretch 32 that appears on his second album Black and White and features vocals from British and Odd Child Recordings-signed singer Etta Bond. The lyrical content on the song follows Wretch asking forgiveness of those around him as he attempts to pursue his dream – including his son. Cited as his favourite track from the album, the song was selected as the fourth single to see release in the United Kingdom and was released as a digital download on 11 December 2011. The track was edited for the official release, removing the first minute of the track in which producer Labrinth sings his version of the chorus.
Electronic Earth is the debut studio album by English recording artist Labrinth released 2 April 2012, via Syco Music. The album peaked at number 2 on the UK Albums Chart.
"Last Time" is a song by English musician Labrinth. Written by Labrinth and manager Marc Williams, it was released as the third single from the musician's debut album Electronic Earth on 16 March 2012.
"Express Yourself" is a song by English musician Labrinth. Written by Labrinth and Charles Wright, it was released as the fourth single from his debut studio album, Electronic Earth on 7 May 2012. It interpolates "Express Yourself" by Charles Wright & the Watts 103rd Street Rhythm Band, which was the same song sampled by N.W.A. in their 1988 song of the same name, and the famous drum break from James Brown's "Funky Drummer".
Ian Sanusee Koromah, better known by the stage name Maxsta, is an English grime MC from South East London. He is signed Just Jam, a subsidiary of Sony Music Entertainment. A fast-paced, choppy style of delivery has led him to be compared to fellow London rapper Dizzee Rascal. He has worked with Tinie Tempah, Chipmunk, and Wiley.
Kathryn-Leigh Beckwith, also known as Kitty Ray, known professionally as Kitty, is an American rapper. She started her career in music as a teenager, uploading original songs to her Tumblr blog under the names Kitty Pryde and ♡kitty♡.
"Beneath Your Beautiful" is a song by British musicians Labrinth and Emeli Sandé. Written by Labrinth, Mike Posner and Sandé, it was promoted as the sixth single from Labrinth's debut album, Electronic Earth (2012), and is included as a bonus track on the US Deluxe Edition of Sandé's debut studio album Our Version of Events. Impacting from 18 October 2012, and following a well-received performance on the ninth series of The X Factor, the single would go on to sell 108,000 copies in the UK during its first week and top the UK Singles Chart. It became Labrinth's first number one single as a lead artist and additionally became his first top 40 hit on the US Billboard Hot 100, where it peaked at number 34. The song was nominated for 'Best British Single' at the 2013 Brit Awards and was ranked the twelfth best-selling single of 2012 in the UK.
"Playing with Fire" is a hip hop song composed and performed by British rapper Plan B, featuring vocals from the track's producer and mixer, Labrinth. The song was released on 3 December 2012 as the fourth and final single from the ill Manors soundtrack, a film which Plan B also directed.

Henrietta "Etta" Bond is a British singer-songwriter. She was the first signing to OddChild Music, partially owing to Bond becoming friends with Labrinth thanks to a fluke Myspace encounter.
OddChild Music was an independent, London-based management company and record label founded by Marc Williams in 2011.
"Trampoline" is the lead single from British Nigerian rapper Tinie Tempah's second studio album, Demonstration (2013). Released on 4 August 2013, the song features an additional rap verse from American rapper 2 Chainz. It debuted at number three in UK Singles Chart on 11 August 2013.
ExR is a musical side project of Etta Bond and Raf Riley, signed to Labrinth's record label Odd Child. The duo released their first collaborative extended play Emergency Room for free download on 20 July 2012 following a series of unreleased ExR demos. They released two promotional singles from the EP in the form of music videos. Etta also performed "Baddy" in May 2013 for SB.TV as part of their String Sessions feature alongside a string quartet. After the EP, Riley released a solo EP and Bond worked on some new material with other producers.
"Lover Not a Fighter" is a song by English rapper Tinie Tempah, featuring additional vocals from Labrinth, who also produced the song. It was released on 2 February 2014 as the third single from Tempah's second studio album Demonstration (2013).
Clive James Brooks, also known as Yungen, is a British rapper, singer and songwriter from Herne Hill, South London. Yungen first gained recognition for his 2011 F64 freestyle video for SB.TV, and by 2015 had been nominated for Best Newcomer at the MOBO Awards.
