Aureicoccus is a Gram-negative, obligately aerobic and heterotrophic genus of bacteria from the family of Flavobacteriaceae with one known species ( Aureicoccus marinus ). [1] [2] Aureicoccus marinus has been isolated from seawater from the North Pacific Ocean. [2]
