Ayer Keroh is a state constituency in Malacca, Malaysia, that has been represented in the Malacca State Legislative Assembly from 1974 to 1986, from 1995 to present.
The state constituency was created in the 1974 redistribution and is mandated to return a single member to the Malacca State Legislative Assembly under the first past the post voting system. Since 2018 [update] , the State Assemblyman for Ayer Keroh is Kerk Chee Yee from the Democratic Action Party (DAP) which is part of the state's opposition coalition, Pakatan Harapan (PH). [2]
It was abolished in 1986 when it was redistributed. It was re-created in 1994.
The Ayer Keroh constituency contains the polling districts of Taman Melaka Baru, Sungai Putat, Taman Bukit Melaka, Ayer Keroh Heights, Kampung Ayer Keroh, Kampung Tun Razak, Batu Berendam, Taman Merdeka, Taman Bunga Raya, Taman Kerjasama and Taman Muzaffar Shah. [4]
According to the federal gazette issued on 31 October 2022, the Ayer Keroh constituency is divided into 8 polling districts. [5]

Kerk Kim Hock was a Malaysian politician and mechanical engineer who served as Member of Parliament (MP) for Kota Melaka from December 1999 to March 2004 and Pasir Panji from October 1990 to December 1999. He served as Member of the Melaka State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Durian Daun from August 1986 to October 1990. He also served as the 4th Secretary-General of the Democratic Action Party (DAP) from December 1999 to his retirement from politics in March 2004. Kerk's retirement coincided with the DAP leaving the Barisan Alternatif opposition coalition that the party had co-founded in 1998. He was also the father of Kerk Chee Yee, the Deputy Speaker of the Melaka State Legislative Assembly and MLA for Ayer Keroh.

Kerk Chee Yee is a Malaysian politician who has served as Deputy Speaker of the Melaka State Legislative Assembly since July 2023 and Member of the Melaka State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Ayer Keroh since May 2018. He served as Member of the Melaka State Executive Council (EXCO) in the Pakatan Harapan (PH) state administration under former Chief Minister Adly Zahari from May 2018 to the collapse of the PH state administration in March 2020. He is a member from Democratic Action Party (DAP), a component party of the PH coalition and son of former Secretary-General of DAP Kerk Kim Hock.
