Pasir Pekan is a state constituency in Kelantan, Malaysia, that has been represented in the Kelantan State Legislative Assembly. [1]
The state constituency was first contested in 1995 and is mandated to return a single Assemblyman to the Kelantan State Legislative Assembly under the first-past-the-post voting system.
According to the Gazette issued on 30 March 2018, the Pasir Pekan constituency has a total of 12 polling districts. [3]

Ahmad bin Yakob is a Malaysian politician and teacher who has served as Member of the Kelantan State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Pasir Pekan since April 1995. He served as the Menteri Besar of Kelantan from May 2013 to August 2023. He is a member, Deputy Spiritual Leader and State Commissioner of Kelantan of the Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS), a component party of the Perikatan Nasional (PN) coalition.
