B.D.M International (formerly Bhagawati Devi Memorial Institute) is an institute affiliated with the CBSE board in Pratapgarh, Rajpur Sonarpur, West Bengal, India. [1] It has over 10,000 students. The school is English medium with Bengali and Hindi being taught as vernaculars.

History

On May 1, 1966, B.D.M. International entered the realm of urban education with a clear objective: to establish an unparalleled standard in education by employing its distinct teaching approach and providing the best possible learning encounters for its students. The founders, (Late) GN Khaitan and (Late) Draupadi Devi Khaitan, aspired to share knowledge and steer young talents towards the correct path, a vision that resonated with parents. With consistent progress, the school has now grown into a thriving student community of over 7000 individuals. [2]

Academic Results

AISSE (Class X) 2022

In the AISSE Class 10 results for the year 2022, a total of 664 students appeared for the examination. Remarkably, all 664 students successfully passed the examination, achieving a 100% pass percentage. Furthermore, an impressive count of 62 students secured scores above 95%, showcasing their exceptional academic achievements. [5]

AISSCE (Class XII) 2022

In the AISSCE Class 12 results for the year 2022, a total of 13 students from BDMI emerged as the highest achievers. Among these, 4 students shone brightly in the Science stream, 3 in Commerce, 3 in Humanities, and 3 in the Fine Arts and Multimedia (FMM) category. Impressively, each of these top performers achieved a score percentage surpassing 90%. [6]
