Baahubali: The Beginning is the soundtrack of the 2015 Indian multilingual film of the same name. The soundtrack album was composed by M. M. Keeravani.

Production

Rajamouli's cousin and his norm composer M. M. Keeravani composed the music for this film. After the break taken by the film's team after completion of war schedule on 5 March 2015, an official statement from the film's team stated that Keeravani is recording two songs from the film right now. [1] Madhan Karky was selected as the lyricist for the Tamil version of the soundtrack. [2] On 2 July 2014, the film's official website published that Keeravani is recording a song at Prasad Studios in Hyderabad which is sung by Deepu. [3] On 28 October 2014, Keeravani told Deccan Chronicle that the writers are working on the lyrics of the songs and he would start working on them in a week's time. [4] During the film's shoot in Bulgaria, the film's soundtrack was expected to be unveiled in February 2015. [5] Lahari Music acquired the audio rights in early May 2015 for an amount of 30 million and the audio is accessible from YouTube. [6] [7] The team of Baahubali announced that the audio launch of the movie will take place in Sri Venkateswara University grounds, Tirupati on the official page of the movie on Twitter. [8] [9] The album also released in Hindi and Malayalam languages.

The film has eight tracks composed by M. M. Keeravani. The music was launched on 31 May 2015. Lyrics for the three songs were penned by Inaganti Sundar and Ananta Sriram, Ramajogayya Sastry, K Shiva Shakti Datta and Chaitanya Prasad were written one each while Aditya and Noel Sean wrote the lyrics for the last song. The music rights for the Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam versions of the soundtrack were acquired by Lahari Music and Manorama Music while Zee Music Company bought the audio rights of the Hindi version of soundtrack. Critical reception

123Telugu gave a positive review saying, "All the songs are situational and will impress you even more after you watch S S Rajamouli’s stunning visuals on screen". [20] Indiaglitz rated the album 3.25 out of 5 stating, "A variety of genres keep you engaged. Keeravani marshalls his traditionalism as well as his knack for the zeitgeist in bringing out the most unlikely chorusus, among others". Baahubali songs album rated positively by Filmievents.com visitors by giving 4 out of 5 rating. [21] The Times of India rated the album 4 out of 5 stating, "The album relies heavily on classical instrumentation and is highly impressive". [22]

Madhan Karky Vairamuthu is an Indian lyricist, screenwriter, research associate, software engineer, and entrepreneur. A holder of a doctorate in computer science from the University of Queensland, Karky began his professional career as an assistant professor at the College of Engineering, Guindy, and soon after ventured into the Tamil film industry, working as a lyricist and dialogue writer. He resigned from his teaching profession in early 2013 and began working full-time in the film industry, while also launching the Karky Research Foundation (KaReFo), an educational research organization which primarily focuses on language computing and language literacy. He also founded the Mellinam Education, which develops educational games and story books designed to propagate learning among children, and DooPaaDoo, an online music platform which promotes independent music and serves a distributor for film soundtracks.

Baahubali: The Beginning is a 2015 Indian Telugu-language epic fantasy action film co-written and directed by S. S. Rajamouli, and produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni under Arka Media Works. The film was produced in Tollywood and was filmed in both Telugu and Tamil languages simultaneously. It features Prabhas in a dual role alongside Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishna, Sathyaraj, and Nassar. The first of Duology, the film follows Sivudu, an adventurous young man who helps his love Avantika rescue Devasena, the former queen of Mahishmati who is now a prisoner under the tyrannical rule of king Bhallaladeva. The story concludes in Baahubali 2: The Conclusion.

Kiliki or Kilikili is a fictional language originally created by Madhan Karky for the 2015 Indian epic adventure film Baahubali: The Beginning. It has 3000 words and is written using 22 symbols. In February 2020 on International Mother Language Day, the film's director SS Rajamouli launched the official website of Kiliki. It reportedly has 40 grammar rules but the grammar section of the website is empty.

RRR is the soundtrack album, composed by M. M. Keeravani, to the 2022 Indian Telugu-language epic action drama film of the same name, directed by S. S. Rajamouli, starring N. T. Rama Rao Jr., Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, and Olivia Morris while Samuthirakani, Shriya Saran, Ray Stevenson, and Alison Doody play supporting roles. Koduri Siva Shakthi Datta is an Indian lyricist, screenwriter, and painter who works in Telugu cinema. He is known for writing Sanskrit-based song lyrics in Telugu films. He is the elder brother of screenwriter V. Vijayendra Prasad, father of music director M. M. Keeravani and the uncle of director S. S. Rajamouli.
