Bahakel Communications, Ltd. is an American communications company based in Charlotte, North Carolina, that is wholly owned and operated by the Bahakel family. The company was founded by Cy Bahakel in 1953, [1] who ran it until his death on April 20, 2006, at the age of 87.
Bahakel's broadcasting properties include fourteen radio and television stations in Alabama, Colorado, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. The group's properties are primarily concentrated on the Southern United States for its television stations, and the Colorado Springs and Chattanooga areas for their radio properties.

WUVC-DT is a television station licensed to Fayetteville, North Carolina, United States, broadcasting the Spanish-language Univision network to the Research Triangle region. It is owned and operated by TelevisaUnivision alongside Raleigh-licensed low-power UniMás station WTNC-LD. Both stations share studios on Falls of Neuse Road in Raleigh, while WUVC-DT's transmitter is located northeast of Broadway, North Carolina.

Media General was an American media company based in Richmond, Virginia. The company's origins can be traced back to 1887 when Richmond attorney Joseph Bryan acquired The Richmond Daily Times, which later became The Richmond Times-Dispatch. The company began in 1989 and the next year, it purchased three television stations from Southwest MultiMedia Company of Houston: KVEO in Brownsville, KPEJ in Odessa, and KWKT in Waco using the holding company Associated Broacasters. They also purchased the license for WPFT in Baton Rouge, LA, which they signed on in 1991 as WGMB with the holding Galloway Media.
