The Latvia national football team represents Latvia in men's international football, and is controlled by the Latvian Football Federation, the governing body for football in Latvia. They have never qualified for the FIFA World Cup, but did qualify for the European Championship in 2004 under head coach Aleksandrs Starkovs.

As a composer and recording artist Lauris Reiniks has received more than 20 National Latvian awards and has gained international recognition in the Baltic states. Lauris Reiniks is also the Season 1 winner of Latvian "Dancing with the Stars" show. The millions of views of his music videos on YouTube has unofficially made him a "King of YouTube" in Latvia.
Television in Latvia was first tested in 1937 and introduced in 1954. Latvia was the first country in the Baltic States which started broadcasting.
Tartu Ülikooli korvpallimeeskond, also known as Tartu Ülikool Maks & Moorits for sponsorship reasons, is a professional basketball team based in Tartu, Estonia. They are a part of the University of Tartu Academic Sports Club. The team plays in the Estonian-Latvian Basketball League and the Korvpalli Meistriliiga (KML). Their home arena is the University of Tartu Sports Hall.

Baltic Robinson: 2002, was the third version of Expedition Robinson, or Survivor to air in the Baltic region of Europe. This season premiered on October 5, 2002 and aired until December 15, 2002.

Baltic Robinson: 2004 was the fourth season of Expedition Robinson aired in the Baltic region and the third to be filmed in Malaysia. Balss Maskā is a Latvian reality singing competition television series based on the Masked Singer franchise, which originated from the South Korean version of the show King of Mask Singer. Bitė Group is a Lithuanian telecommunication conglomerate currently owned by Providence Equity Partners since 2016, having been owned by TDC in Denmark until 2007 and by Mid Europa Partners between 2007 and 2016. Of Baltic states, Bitė mainly operates in telecommunication sector in Lithuania and Latvia, but through its media business TV3 Group, it has an additional presence in Estonia.
First Baltic channel was a Baltic pay television channel based on the largest Russian Channel One to broadcast its programs in the Baltic states. It was launched on 4 September 2002. The channel had also broadcast the local news programme Latvian time since June 2003. The channel was closed in Latvia on 26 October 2021 due to misinformation about COVID-19 and two other violations. Following the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022, its license was revoked and the channel was effectively banned in all three Baltic States.
Baltic Farm, known as Farmi in Estonia, Ferma in Latvia and Fermos in Lithuania was the first and only season of The Farm to air in the Baltic region of Europe. 19 contestants compete and live on a Farm like it was a century prior and to try and survive to win the grand prize of €10,000. The series was filmed on the premises of the Mihkli farm museum in Malvaste, Estonia where the series was hosted by Marko Matvere representing Estonia, Artūrs Skrastiņš hosting for Latvia and Kęstutis Jakštas hosting for Lithuania. The series premiered on 4 February 2003 and concluded on 27 April 2003 where Latvian Una Jēkabsone won in the final challenge against Lithuanian Nerijus Cesiulis and Estonian Kalle Talvi to win the grand prize and be crowned the winner of Baltic Farm.
