Bandbon-e Bala (Persian : بندبن بالا‎, also Romanized as Bandbon-e Bālā; also known as Bālā Bandbūn and Bandbūn)^[1] is a village in Ahandan Rural District, in the Central District of Lahijan County, Gilan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 76, in 22 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran.
