Jir Bagh (Persian : جيرباغ‎, also Romanized as Jīr Bāgh; also known as Jīreh Bāgh)^[1] is a village in Shirju Posht Rural District, Rudboneh District, Lahijan County, Gilan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 363, in 101 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Shirju Posht Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Rudboneh District, Lahijan County, Gilan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 15,716, in 4,711 families. The rural district has 29 villages.

Rudboneh District is a district (bakhsh) in Lahijan County, Gilan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 31,203, in 9,309 families. The District has one city: Rudboneh. The District has two rural districts (dehestan): Rudboneh Rural District and Shirju Posht Rural District.
