Qassab Mahalleh (Persian : قصابمحله‎, also Romanized as Qaşşāb Maḩalleh; also known as Qaşşāb Deh)^[1] is a village in Layalestan Rural District, in the Central District of Lahijan County, Gilan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 512, in 153 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is a pluricentric language primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Layalestan Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Lahijan County, Gilan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 12,993, in 3,893 families. The rural district has 18 villages.
