Bani Gomkan (Persian : باني گمكان‎, Sorani Kurdish : بانی گومکان‎، also Romanized as Bānī Gomkān; also known as Kānī Savārān (Persian : كاني سواران‎، Sorani Kurdish : کانی سواران‎) and Bānī Gomgān)^[1] is a village in Bazan Rural District, in the Central District of Javanrud County, Kermanshah Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 54, in 12 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Bazan Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Javanrud County, Kermanshah Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 5,257, in 1,116 families. The rural district has 28 villages.
