Bank of Newark Building is a historic bank building located at Newark in New Castle County, Delaware. It was built about 1845 and is a three-story, gable-roofed brick building with a symmetrical five-bay facade and a three-story ell to the rear. It is in a restrained form of the Greek Revival style. The front facade features a portico and massive pilasters added sometime after 1929. [2]

In 2010, a second location of the popular Wilmington, DE restaurant Catherine Rooney's moved into the original section of this building.

It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. [1]

Exchange Building, also known as Center Building, Center Hall, and the Grange Building is a historic commercial building located at Newark in New Castle County, Delaware. It was built in 1880 and is a three-story rectangular, stucco coated building with a five bay facade. It features a deep mansard roof enclosing the third floor and covered in slate in the Second Empire style. A prison cell dated to about 1905 is located in the building's basement when, reportedly, a courthouse was located at this address. A barber shop has operated in the same location on the first floor of the Exchange Building for over 100 years. Klondike Kate's, a restaurant, occupies the rest of the ground floor.

The Merrimack County Bank building is a historic commercial building at 214 North Main Street in Concord, New Hampshire. The three story brick Federal style building was built in 1826 to house the offices of the Merrimack County Bank on the first floor, law offices on the second floor, and a public meeting space above. In 1840, the upper floor was taken over by the New Hampshire Historical Society for use as a library. The Society significantly altered the interior in the early 20th century to convert this space for display purposes. In 1952 the building was acquired by the Christian Mutual Life Insurance Company, which restored the interior to its original Federal appearance, and sold the building to a law firm in the 1970s. The building also housed the law offices of future president Franklin Pierce.
