Baoris penicillata, the Paintbrush swift, is a species of butterfly belonging to the family Hesperiidae. [1] It is found in India, Sri Lanka, [2] Thailand, Malaysia, Myanmar, Vietnam, Laos, [3] and recently from China. [4]

Wingspan is about 32-38mm. [5] Three subspecies recognized.
