Barreh Farakh (Persian : بره فراخ‎, also Romanized as Barreh Farākh, Barah Farākh, and Bareh Farākh; also known as Barāfaraq and Barafra)^[1] is a village in Khezel-e Sharqi Rural District, Khezel District, Nahavand County, Hamadan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 410, in 89 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Khezel-e Sharqi Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Khezel District, Nahavand County, Hamadan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 12,926, in 3,028 families. The rural district has 39 villages.
