3x3 basketball will be among the sports contested at the 2023 SEA Games in Cambodia. The events will be contested from 6 to 7 May 2023. Total 8 team will participate in both men's and women's tournaments.

The men's football tournament at the 2023 Southeast Asian Games was held in Cambodia. Ten Southeast Asian nations entered the men's tournament. The tournament was limited to players exclusively under-22 years of age.

The women's football tournament at the 2023 Southeast Asian Games was held from 3–15 May 2023 in Cambodia. Eight Southeast Asian nations participated in the women's tournament. All matches are played in Phnom Penh. There is no age limit for this tournament. Indonesia withdrew from the competition after the draw. Timor-Leste did not take part in the competition.
