The BeNe Super Cup was a women's football competition between the holders of the Dutch Vrouwen Eredivisie and the Belgian Women's First Division. It was played two times.

The Eredivisie Vrouwen is the professional women's football league in the Netherlands. Organized by the Royal Dutch Football Association (KNVB) it was established in 2007 and then played for five seasons until 2012 when the leagues of the Netherlands and Belgium merged forming a single combined league. After three seasons the BeNe League folded and the Eredivisie was restarted in the 2015–16 season. The league winner receives a spot in the UEFA Women's Champions League.

The Belgian Women's First Division is the second highest women's football league of Belgium.

Its inaugural edition took place on 30 August 2011 in Venlo, Netherlands and confronted Standard Liège and FC Twente. [1] [2] Standard won 4-1.

Standard Liège (women) Belgian womens football team

Standard Fémina de Liège is Standard Liège's women's section and the most honoured women's football team in Belgium, with 17 national league titles—15 in the Belgian Women's First Division when it was the top level of women's football in the country, and two in the Super League, the current top level. Standard was also the top-placing Belgian team in all three seasons of the now-defunct BeNe League, which served as the joint top-level league for both Belgium and the Netherlands from 2012–13 to 2014–15, and won that league's overall title in its final season.

The competition was a first step towards the joint BeNe League that gathered the top eight teams from each country and was started in the 2012–13 season. [3] [4] It has not been held since.

BeNe League sports league

The BeNe League was the highest women's football league in Belgium and the Netherlands. To increase competitiveness in their national leagues, the BeNe League was a joint cooperation between the Royal Belgian Football Association and the Royal Dutch Football Association. Its first season was played in 2012–13 following the successful cooperation with the one match BeNe Super Cup, that paired both countries' national champions. The competition qualified the highest-placed Belgian and Dutch teams to the UEFA Women's Champions League.

The 2015–16 Eredivisie Vrouwen was the sixth season of the Netherlands women's professional football league, and the first season since 2011–12. The Eredivisie returned after a three-season period, when it was replaced by the BeNe League, which involved teams from the Netherlands and Belgium. The season took place from 21 August 2015 to 20 May 2016 with seven teams. FC Twente won its second Eredivisie title and became Dutch champions for a fourth consecutive year.

2017–18 KNVB Cup

The 2017–18 KNVB Cup was the 100th season of the annual Dutch national football cup competition. It commenced on 19 September 2017 with the first of six rounds and concluded on 22 April 2018 with the final being played at De Kuip in Rotterdam.
