Bearwallow is an unincorporated crossroads village in Washington County, Kentucky, United States. It lies at the intersection of roads from Bardstown, Cisselville, Fredericktown, Manton, and McIntyre.

The name comes from a small depression where bears came to wallow in a mud hole.

Nancy Hanks Lincoln was the mother of U.S. President Abraham Lincoln. Her marriage to Thomas Lincoln also produced a daughter, Sarah, and a son, Thomas Jr. When Nancy and Thomas had been married for just over 10 years, the family moved from Kentucky to western Perry County, Indiana, in 1816. When Spencer County was formed in 1818, the Lincoln Homestead lay within its current boundaries. Nancy Lincoln died from milk sickness or consumption at the Little Pigeon Creek Community in Spencer County when Abraham was nine years old.

Richard Clough Anderson Jr. was an American slave owner, lawyer, politician, and diplomat from Jefferson County, Kentucky. He served as a member of the United States House of Representatives from Kentucky. He is the son of Richard Clough Anderson Sr. and the grandfather of Larz Anderson.

Stephen Trigg was an American pioneer and soldier from Virginia. He was killed ten months after the surrender of Cornwallis at Yorktown in one of the last battles of the American Revolution while leading the Lincoln County militia at the Battle of Blue Licks, Kentucky.

Tearcoat Creek is an 18.3-mile-long (29.5 km) free-flowing tributary stream of the North River, itself a tributary of the Cacapon River, making it a part of the Potomac River and Chesapeake Bay watersheds. The creek is located in central Hampshire County, West Virginia. Its name is believed to have been derived from the tearing of the coats of British soldiers by low-hanging branches as they forded the stream during either the French and Indian or the American Revolutionary Wars.

Burton Ridge is an area located in the eastern region of Adair County, Kentucky. Burton Ridge includes the communities of Beulah Chapel, Vester, Christine, Purdy, and Ella. Burton Ridge has a very strong, rich, and colorful history. Bearwallow Cemetery, located at Christine, is one of Burton Ridge's most prominent landmarks. Arthur Burton (1794–1855) was one of the first members of the Burton family to reside in the proximity of Burton Ridge. Arthur Burton was born in Virginia and lived in Pulaski County, Kentucky, before residing in Adair County. Arthur Burton died in Adair County. Many residents of Burton Ridge are descendants of Arthur Burton.

Bearwallow Run is a tributary of Shingle Mill Run in Sullivan County, Pennsylvania, in the United States. It is approximately 1.3 miles (2.1 km) long and flows through Davidson Township, Sullivan County, Pennsylvania. The watershed of the stream has an area of 1.02 square miles (2.6 km2). The stream is considered to be Class B Wild Trout Waters and wild trout reproduce naturally within it. The surficial geology in the area mainly consists of bedrock and Boulder Colluvium.
