Between You & Me is an Australian pop-punk band formed in Melbourne. [1] Having released two studio albums through Hopeless Records in 2018 and 2021, the band is currently independent. [2] A hiatus was announced in 2024
Vocalist Jake Wilson started uploading acoustic performances to YouTube in 2015. [3] He was then approached by twin brothers [4] Chris (guitar) and Jamey Bowerman (drums); the band was completed when Jai Gibson (guitar) and James Karagiozis (bass guitar) joined after their band Sidelines stopped writing music. [1] The band self-released debut EP Paper Thin in 2016, after which they toured with As It Is and With Confidence. [5]
The band signed to Hopeless Records midway through 2017, and released the single "Overthinking" on 19 July 2017. [1] [3] They joined Trash Boat on the Australian leg of their 2017 tour. [1] On 13 July 2018, they released their debut album Everything Is Temporary. The album was recorded at Electric Sun studios in Sydney and produced by Stevie Knight. [3] Later in 2018, they supported Neck Deep on the Australian leg of their The Peace and the Panic tour [3] [6] and WSTR on their UK tour. [7] The band released the standalone single "Famous" in 2019. [8]
In June 2021, the band released the single "Supervillain". [8] Following the release of singles "Deadbeat" and "Butterflies", their sophomore album Armageddon was announced. It was produced by Canadian producer Sam Guaiana and released on 19 November 2021, through Hopeless Records. [9] Additional singles off the album include "Change" [10] and "Go To Hell", the latter featuring Yours Truly. [11] Following release, the album was chosen as triple j's Spotlight Album. [12] The band embarked on a headlining Australian tour in support of the album in February of 2022. [13] In late 2022 they supported State Champs on their Kings of the New Age tour in the US. On 8 March 2023, the band announced that they had split with Hopeless Records in 2022, stating that "during the release of [their] sophomore album 'Armageddon', [they] felt that [their] label did not adequately support the record and uphold their obligations". Later that month, they independently released the single "Nevermind", [12] which, like Armageddon, was produced by Sam Guaiana. [16] In April 2023, the band toured with Knuckle Puck and Real Friends in the US. [14]
The band released a single titled "Yeah!" on 8 November 2023. [16] A week later, they announced their first UK headline tour, planned for February 2024. [17]
On 21 February 2024 the band released a single named "In the Middle", and announced an EP titled Sh!t Yeah scheduled for released on 5 April 2024. [18]
Following the conclusion of an Australian tour opening for Busted, the band announced an indefinite hiatus [19]
Between You & Me’s style has been described as pop-punk and power pop. [4] Their work has been compared to Neck Deep, State Champs, [4] Blink-182, [20] All Time Low, Mayday Parade, Yellowcard [21] and Green Day. [8]

San Cisco is an Australian indie pop band that formed in 2009 under the original name of King George, in Fremantle, Western Australia. The band are a three-piece, and currently consists of Jordi Davieson, Josh Biondillo and Scarlett Stevens. Davieson and Biondillo share duties on keyboards. In November 2011, the band was signed by Albert Productions, but moved to Island Records for the release of its debut album. In October 2012, the band described its 'vibe' as "squelchy, crispy, streamlined, hairy, indie". Trophy Eyes is an Australian punk rock band from Newcastle, formed in 2013. They are currently signed to Hopeless Records. The band currently consists of vocalist John Floreani, bassist and backing vocalist Jeremy Winchester, lead guitarist Josh Campiao, and drummer Blake Caruso. Their single "Hurt" was ranked No. 135 on Triple J's Hottest 100. Other Hottest 100 appearances include No. 101 in 2016 with "Chlorine" and No. 93 in 2018 with "You Can Count on Me". To date, they have released four studio albums: Mend, Move On (2014), Chemical Miracle (2016), The American Dream (2018) and Suicide and Sunshine (2023).

Stand Atlantic are an Australian pop punk band from Sydney, formed in 2012, consisting of vocalist/rhythm guitarist Bonnie Fraser, lead guitarist David Potter, bassist Miki Rich, and drummer Jonno Panichi. The band gained prominence in the Australian music scene with the release of their demo EPs, Catalyst (2013) and A Place Apart (2015). Waax are an Australian rock band from Brisbane, Queensland that formed in 2012. The band was co-founded by drummer Tom Bloomfield and lead vocalist Marie "Maz" DeVita, who oversaw every iteration of the line-up until 2023. Waax have released two studio albums, Big Grief (2019) and At Least I'm Free (2022), as well as two independent EPs Holy Sick (2015) and Wild & Weak (2017).
The Buoys are an Australian alternative rock band formed in 2016. Since May 2019 the line-up has been Courtney Cunningham on bass guitar, Hilary Geddes on lead guitar, Tess Wilkin on drums, and Zoe Catterall, the band's founding mainstay, on rhythm guitar and lead vocals. The Buoys released their debut studio album Lustre in 2024, and have released three extended plays, Soft Boy (2017), All This Talking Gets Us Nowhere (2020) and Unsolicited Advice for Your DIY Disaster (2021), as well as several singles. They have toured both nationally and internationally with the likes of Hoodoo Gurus, IDLES, The Dandy Warhols, Arctic Monkeys and more.
Weirder & Weirder is the seventh studio album by Australian indie rock band Ball Park Music, released on 27 May 2022 through Prawn Records. It was preceded by three singles, including "Sunscreen" and "Stars in My Eyes" – the latter polled at number eight in the Triple J Hottest 100 of 2022. The band also embarked on a headline Australian tour in support of the album from June 2022, their first in three years. Weirder & Weirder peaked at number two on the ARIA Albums Chart and was nominated for several awards, including Best Independent Album and Best Rock Album at the 2022 ARIA Awards, winning Album of the Year at the 2023 Queensland Music Awards.
L.S. Dunes is an American rock band fronted by Circa Survive, Saosin and The Sound of Animals Fighting vocalist Anthony Green, with My Chemical Romance guitarist Frank Iero, Coheed and Cambria guitarist Travis Stever, bassist Tim Payne, and drummer Tucker Rule from the band Thursday. They made their live debut at Riot Fest 2022 and released their debut album, Past Lives, on November 11, 2022, preceded by the singles "Permanent Rebellion", "2022" and "Bombsquad". The band played their first UK tour in January 2023, and their first US tour in July 2023.

The group consists of vocalist Anna Ryan, guitarist Scarlett McKahey, drummer Neve van Boxsel and bass guitarist Jaida Stephenson. Their debut extended play, Pretty Good for a Girl Band, was released in 2022 through Domestic La La, and won Best Independent Punk Album or EP at the 2023 AIR Awards. They released their debut studio album, I Love You, in October 2023, which peaked at number 6 on the ARIA Albums Chart.
Teenage Dads are an Australian indie rock band formed in the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria in 2015. The group consists of Jordan Finlay, Connor McLaughlin (guitar), Vincent Kinna (drums) and Angus Christie. Since 2021, they have been signed to Chugg.
Pretty Good for a Girl Band is the debut extended play (EP) by Australian rock band Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers, released on 13 May 2022 via Domestic La La. Produced by James Tidswell and Alex Lahey, the record won Best Independent Punk Album or EP at the 2023 AIR Awards and received three other nominations for the band.
