Bey Kahnu (Persian : بيكهنو‎, also Romanized as Bey Kahnū; also known as Beyn Kahnū, Bīkhkahnūch, and Pīr Kahnū)^[1] is a village in Gowharan Rural District, Gowharan District, Bashagard County, Hormozgan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 352, in 81 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Gowharan District is a district (bakhsh) in Bashagard County, Hormozgan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 13,017, in 2,906 families. The District has one city Gowharan. The District has one rural district (dehestan): Gowharan Rural District.

Bashagard County, also known as Bashākerd County, is a county in Hormozgan Province in Iran. The capital of the county is Sardasht. At the 2006 census, the county's population was 31,235, in 7,174 families. The county has three districts: the Central District, Gafr and Parmon District, and Gowharan District. The county has two cities: Sardasht & Gowharan. The county was separated from Jask County in 2012.
