Sagan (Persian : سگن‎; also known as Saghān)^[1] is a village in Sardasht Rural District, in the Central District of Bashagard County, Hormozgan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 161, in 42 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script, which itself evolved from the Aramaic alphabet.

Sardasht Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Bashagard County, Hormozgan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 1,244, in 270 families. The rural district has 10 villages.

The Central District of Bashagard County is a district (bakhsh) in Bashagard County, Hormozgan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 9.322, in 2,131 families.
