KAT-TUN is a Japanese boy band formed under Smile-Up in 2001. The group's name was originally an acronym based on the first letter of each member's family name: Kazuya Kamenashi, Jin Akanishi, Junnosuke Taguchi, Koki Tanaka, Tatsuya Ueda, and Yuichi Nakamaru. Their debut on March 22, 2006, was marked by a tripartite release of a CD single, album and music DVD on their exclusive record label J-One Records. Since then, all of their single, album and music DVD releases have debuted at number one on the Oricon music and DVD charts.
Kazuya Kamenashi is a Japanese singer, actor, host, producer, magazine model and a member of KAT-TUN. Born and raised in Edogawa, Tokyo, he joined the Japanese talent agency, Johnny & Associates, at the age of 12.
"Real Face" is a song written by Shikao Suga, Joker, Tak Matsumoto and Chokkaku for the debut single and debut album of the Japanese boy band, KAT-TUN. It was released on March 22, 2006, and debuted on the Oricon daily and weekly singles charts at number 1 where it stayed on the latter for 3 weeks. On January 13, KAT-TUN endorsed the mobile game site "entag!" which used KAT-TUN's album track "Smile for You" as a CM song and the first-ever KAT-TUN animation, "Ai wa KAT-TUN", voiced by KAT-TUN themselves, was launched on entag! site for a limited period. Ai wa KAT-TUN hit 1,000,000 views in just 2 weeks.

It is their first single in eight months, since the release of "In Fact". The title track "Dead Or Alive" the main theme song for the film Joker Game starring member Kamenashi Kazuya, released on January 31, 2015. In addition, the single will include a Kamenashi Kazuya solo song and music video, the last member to release his solo promotional video in conjunction with the group's single releases. Titled "Hanasanaide Ai", his upcoming track is written and composed by Kinki Kids’ Domoto Tsuyoshi.

The song will be used as theme song for the new TV Asahi drama “Second Love” start Feb 6 starring member Kamenashi Kazuya. The group has finished their solo member music video project tied with their single releases and with the new single, the group has a new project called “Shuffle KAT-TUN”. Included in the single are two new songs each featuring two pairs; Taguchi Junnosuke and Nakamaru Yuichi / Kamenashi Kazuya and Ueda Tatsuya. The last time the group featured duets in a release was during their debut album “Best of KAT-TUN”. The unit songs are titled Kirarito and Arigatou with the members writing the lyrics for their songs.
