Lacrimas Profundere is a gothic metal band from Germany. Their name means "to shed tears" in Latin. Their stylistic aesthetic has changed over time; originally a gothic death-doom band, they have simplified their style to a more mainstream gothic rock/metal style with more influences from bands such as HIM, The 69 Eyes, before returning to their heavier gothic doom roots on their 2019 album Bleeding the Stars.
Týr is a Faroese folk metal band. They have been characterised as one of "the islands' two most successful metal bands". Their subject matter revolves almost entirely around Viking lore, mythology, and history, taking their name from Týr, the god of war in Norse religion.
Vinland Saga is the second full-length album by the symphonic metal band Leaves' Eyes, released in 2005. It is a concept album that tells the story of the voyage of the Norse explorer Leif Erikson and his discovery of Vinland. Alestorm are a Scottish heavy metal band formed in Perth, Scotland. It consists of three members: Italian singer Roberto Meloni who is living in Latvia, dancer Aleksandra Kurusova as well as the TV and radio person Jānis Vaišļa. Meloni also represented Latvia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 as a part of Bonaparti.lv.

Back Through Time is the third studio album by Scottish heavy metal band Alestorm. It was released on 3 June 2011 by Napalm Records and is the first Alestorm recording to feature Gareth Murdock on bass and Peter Alcorn on drums. The album is available in jewelcase, digipack, LP and special edition boxset formats which includes two bonus cover songs. Alestorm did a Back Through Time World Tour starting in Australia and New Zealand. The album reached number 42 on the German albums chart.

Lyrics often use piratical jargon and various musical genres, such as thrash metal, speed metal, and folk metal, may be combined with traditional-sounding songs like sea shanties. Folk instruments, such as the concertina, can be incorporated or emulated with synthesizers. Band members often dress up in period costume during performances, and concert attendees may do so as well. Pirate metal is sometimes referred to by the media as a music scene.

Cole and peaked at number 10 on the UK Singles Chart despite not being officially released as a single. The track also appeared on The Fifth, Dizzee's 2013 album, and was one of the few UK urban tracks on the album, with most tracks continuing his move away from grime and garage to other genres.

This is Cold's only album to include guitarist Nick Coyle and first to feature bassist Lindsay Manfredi and their first album not to include bass player Jeremy Marshall and the only album to not feature drummer Sam McCandless. Aaron Fulton was credited as the drummer.

The album title is a reference to Iron Maiden's 1988 album Seventh Son of a Seventh Son. The album was produced by the band's long-time producer Lasse Lammert. It was preceded by four singles: "Magellan's Expedition", "P.A.R.T.Y.", "The Battle of Cape Fear River", and "Seventh Rum of a Seventh Rum".
