Blau (stylized as BLAU) is the debut studio album by Japanese singer Eir Aoi. It was released under SME Records on January 30, 2013. It debuted at number four on Oricon chart, [1] and reached number three on Billboard Japan Top Albums Sales. [2] Blau takes its title from German word meaning "blue", denoting her image color and thought that "I want you to feel a variety of Eir Aoi". [3] [4] Three singles were released from the album: "Memoria", "Aurora", and "Innocence", all of them were used for anime theme songs. "Memoria" was chosen as Fate/Zero 's first ending theme, "Aurora" as Mobile Suit Gundam AGE 's fourth opening theme, and "Innocence" as Sword Art Online 's second opening theme. [5] "Memoria" and "Innocence" were most successful songs of the album, have been certified Gold by the RIAJ for sales in Japan, with over 100,000 copies sold for each. [6] [7]

Eir Aoi is a Japanese singer from Sapporo, Hokkaido, signed to Sacra Music. After being discovered through the Japanese video sharing website Niconico, Aoi made her major debut in 2011 with the release of her first single "Memoria", whose title track was used as the first ending theme to the 2011 anime television series Fate/Zero.

The music for the Drakengard series, known as Drag-On Dragoon in Japan, has been handled by multiple composers since the release of the original game in 2004. Drakengard's composers were Nobuyoshi Sano and Takayuki Aihara, Drakengard 2 was handled by Ryoki Matsumoto and Aoi Yoshiki, and Drakengard 3 was composed for by Keiichi Okabe, the composer for series spin-off Nier. Sano remained as a sound director for the second game, and his music was used as a reference for the third. Multiple albums have been released for the music of the series: Drag-On Dragoon Original Soundtrack Vol.1 and Vol.2 were released on October and November 2004, while a two-disc re-release titled Drag-On Dragoon Original Soundtrack was released in April 2011. The Drag-On Dragoon 2 Original Soundtrack was released on July 20, 2005. A promotional disc with two tracks from the soundtrack was released in the same year. The official soundtrack for the third game, Drag-On Dragoon 3 Original Soundtrack, was released January 21, 2014. A compilation of chiptune remixes of the previous games and Nier, Drag-On Dragoon Chips Music, was released on December 19, 2013 as part of the Drag-On Dragoon 10 Anniversary Box.

Japanese singer Shizuka Kudo has released eighteen studio albums, fourteen compilation albums, one EP, two cover albums, six video albums, twelve live video albums, two box sets, and forty-three singles. Her career began in 1985 when she debuted as one of the three vocalists of the girl group Seventeen Club. The short-lived group disbanded after two unsuccessful singles. In 1986, she joined the idol girl group Onyanko Club as member number 38, which led to Kudo forming the subgroup Ushirogami Hikaretai the following year. She released her first solo single, "Kindan no Telepathy", on the same day as the last broadcast of the variety show Yūyake Nyan Nyan, from which the Onyanko Club members originated. Cö shu Nie is a Japanese rock band. The band's current members are musicians Miku Nakamura and Shunsuke Matsumoto; previously in the group were Kōjirō Yamazaki and Ryōsuke Fujita.

Japanese boy band JO1 has released two studio albums, one video album, seven singles, twenty promotional singles, and eleven music videos with Lapone Entertainment. Fujii Kaze is a Japanese singer-songwriter and musician under Universal Sigma. Raised in Satoshō, Okayama in Japan, he began uploading covers to YouTube since the age of 12. He released his first studio album, Help Ever Hurt Never in 2020, which reached number one on the Billboard Japan Hot Albums chart and number two on the Oricon Albums Chart. His second album, Love All Serve All, released in 2022 topped both the Japanese Billboard charts and the Oricon Albums Chart and has since been certified platinum in March 2022 by the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ), beating his debut’s gold certification in January 2021. Fujii was the first Asian act in history to debut a song in all 73 available countries and regions of Spotify Daily Viral charts.
