Ralphs Grocery Store is a historic building in the Westwood Village section of Westwood, Los Angeles, California. Built in 1929 as a Ralphs Grocery Store, it was one of the original six buildings in the Westwood Village development. The building was noted for its cylindrical rotunda capped by a low saucer dome, with a pediment over the entrance and arcaded wings extending north and east. It was photographed by Ansel Adams in 1940, declared a Historic-Cultural Monument in 1988, and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.
The Colonial Beacon Gas Station is a historic gas station at 474 Main Street in Stoneham, Massachusetts. It was built c. 1922 by the Colonial Oil Company to be a flagship station in their chain of filling stations. The concrete and stucco building was designed by the Boston firm of Coolidge & Carlson. It has two main sections: an octagonal section that once served as a drive-through filling area, and a rectangular service area to its left. Corinthian columns originally supported the octagonal section; these have since been covered over or replaced. The octagonal section is topped by a round dome, at whose apex is a small pillared section that was once topped by a grillwork globe that housed a light. This light, when illuminated, became the beacon which gives the station its name. The service area and pumping bay have a band of starburst panels that run along the top of the flat roofed service area and around the base of the pumping area dome.

It was built between 1840 and 1860, and is a two-story, hipped roofed frame structure clad in weatherboard siding. It features a full-width porch on two sides. It is representative of mid-19th-century commercial vernacular architecture. It has housed a general store, grocery and gas station, muskrat skinner's store and antique shop at various periods.
Fieldale Historic District is a national historic district located at Fieldale, Henry County, Virginia. The district encompasses 329 contributing buildings and 2 contributing structures in the town of Fieldale. The majority of the buildings were built after 1916-1917 by the Marshall Field and Company as workers housing for the Fieldcrest Mills. Other notable buildings and structures include the Fieldcrest Mills Complex with the upper mill, lower mill, gatehouse, warehouse, water infiltration plant, and welder's shop; Danville & Western Station; Route 701 Bridge; Bank of Fieldale/Post Office; Fieldale Café (Fieldale Grocery; former Theater/Drug Store; Ramona's Dress Shop/Wilson's Grocery Store; Fieldale Elementary School ; Fieldale High School ; Fieldale Community Center ; Fieldale Hotel, and Fieldale Baptist Church. The former gas station building that houses Peggy's Antiques was built by the Lustron Manufacturing Company. Also located in the district and separately listed are the Marshall Field and Company Clubhouse and Virginia Home.
Harvey's Grocery and Texaco Station is a historic retail establishment at 3241 Arkansas Highway 24, between Camden and Chidester, Arkansas. The single-story concrete block building was built in 1940 by Henry Harvey, replacing a log structure that had previously housed his retail establishment. The building is one of the best-preserved examples of 1940s vernacular general stores and gas stations in the Camden area. The style of the building is, despite its modern construction materials, reminiscent of 19th century retail buildings, with a small windows placed high on the sides, and a full-width front porch. The Harveys pumped gas until 1979, after which the tanks were removed. Harvey's was also a locally notable stop for politicians on the stump in Arkansas: those who are known to have stopped here were Bill Clinton, David Pryor, and Jay Dickey.
The Morton Brothers Grocery, located at 401 West Ninth in Houston, Texas, is a historic building located in the Houston Heights neighborhood. Built in 1929, it was a neighborhood grocery store run by Curtiss I. Morton and his brother, William J. Morton until 1949. It is a one-story brick veneer commercial building, one of the few such remaining in the Heights. Its most recent use has been as a private home. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on January 15, 1988.
