Brayden Schager (born August 13, 2003) is an American football quarterback for the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors.
Schager was born in Dallas, Texas. His father, Scott Schager, was a wrestler at Iowa State. Brayden attended Highland Park High School. [1]
Schager enrolled at the University of Hawaii in 2021. As a freshman, he appeared in six games and was the team's starting quarterback in three of those games. As a sophomore, he became the team's regular starting quarterback, [2] [3] completing 221 of 400 passes for 2,348 yards and 13 touchdowns. [1]
Schager entered the 2023 season as the team's clear starter at quarterback. [4] [5] [6] As of October 15, Schager ranked fifth in the nation in passing yardage, having completed 184 of 290 passes (63.4%) for 2,088 yards with 17 touchdowns and eight interceptions. [7] He entered the transfer portal on December 6, 2023, but withdrew days later. [8] It was announced on December 24 that he would return to play at Hawaii for his senior season. [9]

June Sheldon Jones III is an American football coach and former player who was most recently the offensive coordinator of the Seattle Sea Dragons. Jones was the head football coach at the University of Hawaii at Manoa from 1999 to 2007, and was the head football coach at Southern Methodist University (SMU) from 2008 until he resigned on September 8, 2014. He coached in the National Football League (NFL) for three years as head coach of the Atlanta Falcons from 1994 to 1996, plus a ten-game stint as interim head coach of the San Diego Chargers in 1998; he also spent 1+1⁄2 seasons as head coach of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in the Canadian Football League (CFL). Jones was the general manager and head coach of the Houston Roughnecks.
Timothy Kealii'okaaina Awa Chang is an American football coach and former quarterback who is currently the head coach of the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors. During his playing career at Hawaii, he set several major college football passing records, including the NCAA record for most all-time passing yards; this record was later eclipsed by Case Keenum in 2011, and Dillon Gabriel in 2024, although Chang still remains in third place.
Nicholas Robert Rolovich is an American former football coach and player. He was most recently the head football coach at Washington State University (WSU). Rolovich majored in economics at the University of Hawaii, and received a master's degree at New Mexico Highlands University. He was a quarterback with the Las Vegas Gladiators in the Arena Football League (AFL).
The Hawaii Rainbow Warriors football team represents the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa in NCAA Division I FBS college football. It was part of the Western Athletic Conference until July 2012, when the team joined the Mountain West Conference. From 2000 until 2013, the team was known simply as the Warriors. The Rainbow Warriors were the third team from a nonautomatic qualifier conference to play in a BCS bowl game, playing the Georgia Bulldogs in the 2008 Sugar Bowl and lost 41–10.
The 2006 Hawaii Warriors football team represented the University of Hawaii at Manoa in the 2006 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Warriors tied the school record for most victories in a season with 11, with their only losses coming against Alabama in Tuscaloosa, an undefeated Boise State team that went on to participate in the Bowl Championship Series and Oregon State, which won ten games and finished the season nationally ranked. The Warriors finished in second place in the Western Athletic Conference behind Boise State and returned to the Hawaii Bowl after missing out on postseason play in 2005 due to a losing record. The Warriors defeated the Arizona State Sun Devils in the bowl game by a score of 41–24 to round out one of the school's most successful football seasons ever.
Colton James Brennan was an American professional football quarterback. He played college football for the Colorado Buffaloes, the Saddleback Bobcats, and most notably with the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors, where he was a two-time third-team All-American before being selected by the Washington Redskins of the National Football League (NFL) in the sixth round of the 2008 NFL draft.
