Lizzie Susan Stebbing was a British philosopher. She belonged to the 1930s generation of analytic philosophy, and was a founder in 1933 of the journal Analysis. Stebbing was the first woman to hold a philosophy chair in the United Kingdom, as well as the first female President of Humanists UK.

He previously served as a Professor in the School of Art History, Classics and Religious Studies at Victoria University of Wellington. Bulbulia is regarded as one of the founders of the contemporary evolutionary religious studies. He is a past president of the International Association for the Cognitive Science of Religion and is currently co-editor of Religion, Brain & Behavior. Bulbulia is one of four on the Senior Management Team of the New Zealand Attitudes and Values Study, a 20-year longitudinal study tracking over 15,000 New Zealanders each year. He is an associate investigator for Pulotu, a database of 116 Pacific cultures purpose-built to investigate the evolutionary dynamics of religion. In 2016 Bulbulia won a Research Excellence Award at Victoria University.

Northern History is an academic journal of the history of the northern counties of England. It was first published in 1966 under the auspices of the School of History, University of Leeds. It is indexed by Scopus. The journal's founding editor was G. C. F. Forster, and the first issue was 'facilitated by a guarantee from the publications fund of the University of Leeds, and by donations from local firms and individuals'. Forster retired from the journal after the publication of issue 53.2. In 1997, S.J.D. Green joined as co-editor. In 2016, the Editorial team changed to: S.J.D. Olufunke Adeboye is a Nigerian professor of Social History at the Department of History and Strategic Studies of the University of Lagos, Nigeria, where she is also the incumbent Dean of the Faculty of Arts. Adeboye's research interests include gender in Africa, pre-colonial and colonial Nigerian history, nineteenth and twentieth century Yoruba society, African historiography, and Pentecostalism in West Africa. In 2013, she won the Gerti Hesseling Prize awarded by AEGIS for the best journal article published in a European African Studies journal by an African scholar.
