As of the census [1] of 2000, there were 258 people, 94 households, and 75 families residing in the township. The population density was 7.2 inhabitants per square mile (2.8/km2). There were 100 housing units at an average density of 2.8 per square mile (1.1/km2). The racial makeup of the township was 98.84% White, 0.39% Asian, and 0.78% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 2.71% of the population.
There were 94 households, out of which 35.1% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 74.5% were married couples living together, 1.1% had a female householder with no husband present, and 20.2% were non-families. 16.0% of all households were made up of individuals, and 3.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.74 and the average family size was 3.11.
In the township the population was spread out, with 29.8% under the age of 18, 4.3% from 18 to 24, 22.1% from 25 to 44, 30.2% from 45 to 64, and 13.6% who were 65 years of age or older.
