As of the census [1] of 2000, there were 185 people, 72 households, and 56 families residing in the township. The population density was 5.2 people per square mile (2.0/km2). There were 79 housing units at an average density of 2.2/sq mi (0.9/km2). The racial makeup of the township was 100.00% White.
There were 72 households, out of which 29.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 66.7% were married couples living together, 6.9% had a female householder with no husband present, and 22.2% were non-families. 16.7% of all households were made up of individuals, and 9.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.57 and the average family size was 2.88.
In the township the population was spread out, with 20.5% under the age of 18, 9.7% from 18 to 24, 26.5% from 25 to 44, 25.4% from 45 to 64, and 17.8% who were 65 years of age or older.
