Brownfield is an unincorporated community in northeastern Laclede County, in the U.S. state of Missouri. [1] The community is located just over one mile southeast of the Laclede-Pulaski county line and one mile east of Missouri Route K. It is within the Mark Twain National Forest and the Gasconade River lies just one mile to the east. [2]
A post office called Brownfield was established in 1930, and remained in operation until 1955. [3] Riley Brownfield, an early postmaster, gave the community his last name. [4]
Laclede County is a county located in the U.S. state of Missouri. As of the 2020 census, the population was 36,039. Its county seat is Lebanon. The county was organized February 24, 1849, and was named after Pierre Laclède, founder of St. Louis.
Hazelgreen is an unincorporated community in eastern Laclede County, Missouri, United States. It lies along historic U.S. Route 66, now an outer road of Interstate 44. The town is split by I-44, one mile west of the I-44 - Missouri Route 133 junction in adjacent Pulaski County. The Gasconade River is just north and west of the site.
Sleeper is an unincorporated community in Laclede County, Missouri, United States. It is located approximately one mile north of Interstate 44 at the intersection of Missouri routes F and J. It is and about six miles northeast of Lebanon and five miles southwest of Stoutland. Several homes and a fire station are located here.
Competition is an unincorporated community in southern Laclede County, Missouri, United States. It is located approximately seventeen miles southeast of Lebanon. It is on Missouri Route Z about one-half mile north of the Laclede-Wright county line. Lynchburg is approximately seven miles to the east. The Gasconade River flows past one mile to the east.
Falcon is an unincorporated community in eastern Laclede County, Missouri, United States. It is approximately sixteen miles east of Lebanon on Route 32. The Gasconade River lies just east of the community, which is within the Mark Twain National Forest. The community consists of a post office and two houses.
Atchley is a former community in Laclede County, in the U.S. state of Missouri. The community was located approximately four miles northwest of Lebanon and 1.5 miles west of Missouri Route 5, roughly at the intersection of present day Hancock Road and Oaklawn Dr. Its land is now entirely under private ownership, for farming. The Atchley Cemetery lies west of Goodwin Hollow Creek.
Brush Creek is an unincorporated community in southern Laclede County, in the U.S. state of Missouri. The community lies four miles southwest of Lebanon and approximately one mile north of Caffeyville. I-44 passes about one mile to the southeast.
Carrol Junction is an unincorporated community in Laclede County, in the Ozarks of south central Missouri. The community is located along the railroad line just west of Interstate 44 and 1.75 miles southwest of Sleeper.

Southard is an unincorporated community in southern Laclede County, in the U.S. state of Missouri. The community is on a county road two miles south of Nebo and 3.5 miles northwest of Lynchburg. The Pine Creek tributary to the Gasconade River flows past the south side of the community.
Winnipeg is an unincorporated community in eastern Laclede County, in the Ozarks of south central Missouri. The community is located above Nelson Creek, approximately three miles northeast of Missouri Route 32. Falcon and Nebo are to the west and southwest respectively. Missouri Route 17 and the southwestern corner of Fort Leonard Wood are about two miles to the east.
